Abel woke up with a banging headache in Magdalena's spare room. He wondered how long he was out. Trying to get up, he suddenly remembered Alison and the fact that he should have headed back already. He had only spent a night away from her, and he did not want to spend another away from her, so he grabbed his stuff and stepped out of the room.
"The wolf god is awake," Magdalena said to him, working on an elixir.
"How long was I out?" he asked.
"Six hours," she said, smiling at him.
"I need to leave," he said and was ready to head out when she stopped him.
