~Chapter 3

1004 Words
HARLEY I shut my locker. "Hey." I screamed in surprise at the unexpected face at the back of my locker door. Asher! I so feel like yelling at his....his ugly face! "How can you scream so freaking loud when you are mute." He asked confused rubbing his ears. Then he smiles. Bipolar. "Anyways, what happened to you yesterday? I was looking all over for you then I remembered you didn't tell me your name. I would have asked around." He shrugs then brings his backpack up from his shoulder and zips it open, taking out a paper and a pen. "Here." He stretches out his hand, handing me the paper and pen. I slowly took it from him, giving him a questioning look. "You can write your name there for me." He  simply says. I looked at him as if he has gone crazy. "Hey Asher!!" Up to four girls say in unison as they run up to Asher. They stopped by us and all four gave me disgusted looks. "So you're the strange girl." One of them said before they all stand in between me and Asher making me stumble back. Their back faced me and they started talking with Asher. The bell rings. Oh no. Time to get pushed around. Wait, why don't I run to class? Good idea. I quickly look at Asher to see he is pretty occupied with the girls. I shove the navy blue pen with a golden line in the middle with the paper he gave me in my bag. Then I start running. Few minutes later I reached my Science class. I bend my back resting my hands on my knees as I try to catch my breath. I don't need to go to PE today with this much run. It worked from being pushed around but honestly with how much breath I lost, I don't think I can be doing this till after school. After catching my breath, I walked in and set at the end of the long table filled with tubes and their different shapes with colored liquids. Again I'm the only one, when it comes to partner testing, I'm also left alone and Mrs. Merks would send me a pitiful look then comes to check on me than the others. Science class was finally over and I got up took my back and went out the door. "Hey mute girl." I jump in freight as I slowly turn to a grinning Asher. "Sorry for the freight. I came to pick you. We should go to English together." "Hey bro!" That's Klein's voice. I froze. As he walks closer to us. He then turns to Asher completely ignoring my presence. "So were you heading to now?" "Oh it's English." "Then why are you in front of Science? You not the type to do science. That? I know." "Yeah, just came to pick up a friend." Asher said then drags my arm from Klein's back bringing me to stand in between them. Klein gives me a weird look. "Now who is this?" "It's, uh..." Oh yeah, I never gave him my name. Asher moves down to my ears. "Little help here?" He asks then waited for my reply or waiting for me to bring out the paper filled in with my name already. But I disappointed him, as I just stood there not doing anything, which I might add made it really awkward. With me standing in between the two relatives who are waiting for my next action. "Well we just met yesterday. I am still getting to learn her name. We're going now seems like we are getting late for class." He said resting his hands on my shoulder and turns me around with him. "Alright bro! See you!" Klein your typical popular guy said and by the looks of it, he doesn't like me a bit. I let out a sigh, second day of Asher's presence in school and I'm getting lots of attention. "You okay?" He asks as we walk to class. I angrily push his arm of my shoulders. "Woah! Sorry never knew you hated that." He says putting his hands up in surrender. "Hey Asher!" "s**t! I have had enough of that for a day. Mute girl! We have to run, now!" He says. I was about to reply him no that he should leave me alone and I'm already tired of his presence but I was shut down as he unexpectedly grab my wrist and we begin to run to class. Now I am being forced to run with a celeb from paparazzi. I huffed in annoyance as we finally stood in front of our class. I bend and started breathing heavily. What's with me running today. I am definitely not a sport person. "So, you aren't the sport type. No wonder you look fat." He snickers. I froze. No wonder you look fat. No one calls me fat! That prick. I stood up straight and walked threatening slow steps towards him. I'm sick and tired of him. I can't stand one more day with him. I have had enough of him. "You listen clearly." He froze staring at me with one eye brow raised. "First of, we are not friends. I have no freaking idea were you get that f****d up idea from. You started yesterday and already bring thousands of eyes and bad mouths my way." I said letting out my frustrations on him. I'm even being bad mouthed because of this prick. Asher looks at me flabbergasted. But I just continue. "I hate you and I do not want to breathe the same air with you ever again! Please leave me alone! I don't need you in my life!" People already starting a small crowd. I stare angrily at Asher once I was done talking. Then he smirks. "You have quite the voice." "Just fuckin stay away from me!" I yelled and open the door getting into class before shutting it with so much force.
