Chapter 9

"I have a friend that works at the hospital we can get a test saying he's not their real father". My girlfriend Valerie said causing me to look over at her.

"How fast can they get it done". I ask pulling out my phone.

"In a few minutes she just has to type in their names". She said and I nod dialing my lawyers number.

"Tell her to do it and we'll pick it". I said before walking away.

"I need a court day for tomorrow". I said as soon as he answered the phone.

Watching Alyssa whoop this girl ass in her boxing match I cheer her on with Josiah and Laila. Josiah already won his match.

"GO BABY GIRL GO". I yell with a huge smile on my face.

Feeling my phone vibrate in my pocket I pull it out and see it's Eric. Looking over I tell Laila I'll be right back before walking outside.

"Wassup Eric". I ask with a smile on my face.

"We have a court date scheduled for tomorrow". He said causing me to scrunch up my face.

"For what I thought I won". I ask with a confused look on my face.

"I don't know I just got the email stating we had to be there". He said with a sigh.

"Alright man thank you". I said before hanging up and walking back inside to watch Alyssa finish her match.

|After the match|

I decided to take the twins out to eat since they won their matches even though I take them even when they don't win it's still nice to spend time with them.

"Daddy did you see I was like boom boom boom". Alyssa said doing a few combos.

"I saw baby girl you were amazing". I said smiling down at her.

"Daddy are we going with mama today". Josiah asked and I nodded my head with a small smile.

"She said she missed y'all". I said causing them to smile.

They started talking to each other and I felt Laila grab my hand rubbing it.

"I love how you don't bad mouth her to them". She said smiling up at me.

"That's not the type of nigga I am". I said shaking my head as the waiter came walking up.

"What can I start you off to drink with". He asked pulling out his note pad.

"Lemonade". Me and the twins said at the same time causing us all to laugh.

"I'll have a sprite". Laila said and he nodded walking away.

"Y'all building y'all own pizza or getting a burger". I ask looking at the menu.

"Pizza". They said at the same time.

"Well when he come back go ahead and order cause we got to get y'all to y'all moms house on time". I said and they nodded.

|Marandas house|

Pulling up outside Marandas house I get out and walk the kids to the door knocking on it. When it opened the girl from the court house was standing there.

"Hey Ms. Valerie". The twins said before running inside.

Mugging her I walk back to the car getting in. Laying my head on the steering wheel I breath deeply.

"Hey hey hey it's okay". Laila said rubbing my back trying to look at my face.

"It took everything in me not to lay that lying b***h out". I said sitting up before starting the car.

"You want me to beat her ass". She asked causing me to laugh.

"Yea that would be nice". I said and she hopped out of the car running towards the door banging on it.

Once the door opened she swung knocking the Valerie chick on the floor. Quickly getting out of the car I run over and grab her off of her.

"Get her the hell out of here". Maranda yelled coming from out of nowhere.

"What it look like I'm doing". I said smacking my lips before taking Laila to the car.

"You okay baby you not hurt". I ask looking over her as she sat in the passenger seat.

"Yea I'm fine". She said smiling up at me causing me to laugh.

"I didn't think you was gone actually do it". I said causing her to laugh.

Before she could say anything someone started beating on my back and when I turned around it was Maranda. Pushing her back slightly I didn't do it to hard cause the kids were standing outside watching us.

"Look stop hitting me man our kids are right there". I said pushing her back again.

Laila tried to hit her but I grabbed her pushing her back into the car.

"Not in front of my kids". I said and she nodded sitting back down.

When I turned around I was hit in the lip and I felt it dripping. Touching it I pull my hand away from my lip seeing blood on it.

"b***h". I said trying to go after her but Laila was holding me back.

"Y'all see that y'all daddy just tried to hit me". She said causing me to snap back to reality and I could see the twins looking at me with sad eyes.

"King". I said walking up to them but he shook his head and hugged onto Maranda.

"Queen". I said reaching for Alyssa as tears rolled down her cheeks.

She put her face into Marandas side and I look up to see Maranda smirking.

"Josiah and Alyssa please". I said as my eyes started to water.

Once I noticed they weren't coming to me I turn around and walk off to the car. Getting in I start it up and pull off.

I can't believe she did that shit...
