CHAPTER NINE It’s a monster, all right, Carly thought. Cody Gosnell was right about that. A monster was loose in this apparently peaceful, artsy town where women had felt safe walking around alone at night. And she had every right to expect Carly and Lyle to do something about it. Carly drew a deep sigh. Of course, they all intended to stop this killer before he struck again, but they had precious little to go on so far. And she knew that even once they did, the town of Teapa would never be the same. Certainly the lives of two victims’ families were already changed forever.
