I'm glad Lana is doing better today. She seems so excited to go see that young pup she helped save yesterday. I've never seen her care so much about anyone, let alone a young pup. She must be someone special.

Never in all my life would I have ever expected her to be Blake's unknown daughter.

Her mother seems like a sensible wolf.

'She smells divine,' Malakite, my wolf, purrs.

What the hell? Why would Malakite say this? Although I have to agree, she does smell good.

It's not until she meets my eyes, as I angrily defend Lana, that I succumb to this hash truth.

She, Sophie Welsh, is my mate!

I finally found her! But my happiness is short-lived.

She had a daughter with Blake... She had a daughter with the one person I hate most in the world!

How could this happen?

'I can't deal with this right now.' I think to myself as I storm out of the hospital, leaving I'm sure, a very distraught Sophie, and a shocked Lana.

Can I really stay with her knowing she's already a mother, and to Blake's daughter no less?
