Chapter 3
Rosa's Pov;
" Are you trying to tell me that you can't behave for once in your life? Do you always have to act so childish and cause me trouble and stress?!" I listened as she ranted on and on and the only thing that didn't make me roll my eyes was because of Sasha.
Her PA, the one she has sent to take care of the mess that I supposedly made.
To be honest, I didn't even know what was going on not until after she, Sasha came and I was summoned.
Now, I was outside with her, listening to this woman called my mother.
She knew I wouldn't pick up if she had called me and called her instead to give the phone to me.
I was so fed up with her shouts and rants.
Is she seriously trying to act like a good Mother now?? Is she seriously trying to give me lectures on how to be good and well-behaved??.
Like seriously?!!.
Oh, my!! I didn't know these things could be taught in one day, scratch that, in a few minutes.
No one told me so.
She's acting as if she cares when all she cares about is her career.
She's scared I will cause problems for her and that's the only reason she's so immense in this and always going to extra mile to try and clean the mess I make.
The only reason she was putting up with all of it was because she didn't want me to put a daint on her name...she didn't want me to spoil her name and I get it.
Yeah, I do; I get that I can never be that important to her, and get why she's doing so much to clean this up.
I know I'm not worth that much to her anymore. Her name, riches, and fame are all that matter to her.
As the saying goes, 'A good name is better than Riches'. I know she so much believes in this saying, just that I don't know which she likes more - Her name or her wealth.
"Won't you even try to hear my side of the story" I had to snap at her, because of her non-stop ranting which was beginning to get on my nerves.
I didn't mind Sasha's presence anymore, after all, it was between mother and daughter, and who would have the right to interfere?
She would know when to come in and when not to and it wasn't the time because I was already so mad.
" Well dear, whatever you have to say right now is useless and stupid. Do you know what you have caused me today, huh? Because of your stupid and selfish attitude. Can't you just get it together for once?" she yelled, and I had to adjust the phone from my ear before she would block my ear drum.
I had wanted to trash the phone on the floor but couldn't.
I handed the phone back to Sasha and started walking to the principal's office with her behind me.
I got to the office and was shocked to see Mr Charlie.
Of course, he had to be there too, but it wasn't just him, but Mr Paul, our homeroom teacher was there also.
I was dumbfounded and furrowed my brows to show my confusion, not until Sasha's voice snapped me out.
" I'm here on behalf of Mrs..." she was saying when I zoned out again.
Why exactly was Mr Charlie here?? Why is he so interested in my business?
Since he started teaching here, there's never been anything I do that he doesn't know.
It's almost like he is monitoring me or something and I was beginning to have other thoughts.
Does he perhaps have a crush on me?
Nah!! I quickly kicked off the idea. The one person that I could think of was Chelsea.
Everyone in class knows she's his favorite student and also how much he loves her.
That explains why he's here.
I know it sounds ridiculous that I was thinking this way, but he is so young and handsome and doesn't even look like a teacher to begin with.
Yeah!! It has to be. There's no way he would be here for nothing, he's not even our homeroom teacher.
I looked up at him and found him staring at me.
We engaged in an eye contest which didn't even last up to 30 seconds before he let his eyes off.
Gosh!! So cold.
I could tell he was trying too hard to control himself.
" Miss Browns!" The Principal called, snapping me out of my thoughts.
I turned to look at him, trying to keep my mind in one place.
" Hope you know the implications of what you've done?" he asked softly.
" With all due respect Sir, I had absolutely nothing to do with what happened," I said.
" Are you then trying to say that your friends lied?" Mr Paul asked, almost raising his voice but had to restrain himself.
" I don't know what you mean because I wasn't even in school..." I paused when I realized I shouldn't say anything about sneaking out of school.
That would surely make them get mad and choose to punish me.
My eyes ran into Mr Charlie's and he gave a knowing nod.
What?? Don't tell me that he knows??.
Goodness!! If he does, then why isn't he saying anything??.
" I'm so sorry for anything she might have put you through and for all the damages she has caused" I heard Sasha say.
I turned to look at her and for the first time since I knew her, I saw her throw a small smile towards the principal who just nodded.
I don't know if it's because the principal is a man, but he is very understanding.
I prefer it that way because dealing with women is so much work that I hate to go through.
I already have one at home to deal with.
" We would take our leave now," Sasha said and I smiled at how much influence my Mom has.
Everything was just sorted out like that...easy and simple.
" Alright," the principal said and we left.
Sasha stopped by the hall to tell me how my Mom wanted me home on time and blabla, before leaving.
I rolled my eyes as I walked back to class, my arms under my chest, when my phone suddenly started ringing.
I scoffed upon seeing who the caller was.
What the hell??.
