Episode 1: The Accident
I still remember the sound of screeching tires and the feeling of being thrown into the air.
I was walking home from school, lost in thought, when suddenly a car came out of nowhere and hit me.
Everything went black.
When I woke up, I was in a hospital bed, surrounded by beeping machines and white walls.
My head was throbbing, and my body ached all over. I tried to sit up, but a nurse rushed in to stop me.
"Ma'am, please lie down! You're not supposed to move yet," she said gently.
I looked around, trying to remember what had happened. That's when I saw him - a tall, dark-haired guy sitting in the corner of the room, staring at me with concern.
"Who are you?" I asked, my voice hoarse from the hospital gown.
"I'm your doctor," he replied, smiling. "My name is Dr. Lee."
As I spent more days in the hospital, Dr. Lee became my constant companion.
He would visit me every day, bringing me magazines and books to read.
We would chat for hours about nothing in particular,
But I found myself looking forward to his visits more and more.
One day, while he was changing my bandages,
I couldn't help but notice how his eyes crinkled at the corners when he smiled.
"You're quite the nurse," I teased.
He chuckled. "Just doing my job."
