It's just like the system saw through the whole of him, he is entirely worthless, even in the real world.

Sean knew he had to find equipment in this world if he wanted to be safe. The dead man who wrote this note might want to set a trap for him or anyone who checked the freezer.

Sean went to the kitchen and found a knife, he took it and went to the freezer. In fear, he opened the freezer and bent down immediately, he learned this in an action movie. Since he didn't know what was in the freezer, he couldn't just look at it.

Thanks to that, the first that came out of the freezer was a knife. According to the orders her father gave her, the young girl in the freezer strike whatever opened the freezer

"Who are you?"

"I saw your father's note on the table and came here to…"

Sean doesn't know how to finish the statement. He didn't come here to save the girl, he was just doing things randomly

"Are you the one?" The girl asked

"Who"

"My father, he said he will send someone here to save me from the devils. Are you the one?"

"No, I'm…I'm just walking by and I saw the door of this house open so I entered"

Sean flipped the note she took from the table and gave it to the girl

"I saw it on the table"

"My father, did you see him?"

Sean remembered the blood at the door

"Yes, but he is gone, to search for someone that can help us out of this place"

"Are we waiting for the person?"

"No, we are going to meet him. Will you come with me? I can help you"

The girl came out of the freezer"

"Yes"

Sean held the girl's hand and went to the main room. He saw a table with lots of books on it, it is obvious that the father of this girl read a lot.

Reading might help him understand a few things about the place he is in, so he went there. After scanning through the books on the books on the table, he saw a map. It is the map of the city and some places were circled with red ink.

Sean doesn't know if the those places are safe group or dangerous places but the fact that red ink was used made him believe those places can't be safe

It is obvious that the owner of this house is safety conscious, if he is, he probably should have a weapon around; that's if his killer did not rob him of it.

"Can you take me to the store room?"

At least, that is where everyone keeps things like that cutlass or dagger.

After searing the store room, Sean does find a dagger. He kept it somewhere around his waist and hold the kitchen knife in his hand

"My father have a g*n in his room"

"He does, then let's go get it"

The girl led Sean to her father's room but what they found there is more than the gun

The dead body of a young man was lying the bed

"Father"

The girl ran to her father and tried to wake him up. She faced Sean and said

"I thought you said he went somewhere far to call someone that can save us"

The girl kept trying to wake her father and keiran was wondering why the girl haven't give up that

'can't she see the blood on her father's body?'

Wait! Sean went closer to the corpse and saw that there is no wound, no blood or anything that can prove that the man was killed.

'whose blood is the one outside?'

Sean told the girl that her father is dead and they need to get out of the house. Sean took with him a dagger, a kitchen knife and a map. Sean choose a place on the map; one of those that are not circled with red ink, he thinks the place must be at least safer than this house where two people already died

Sean and the girl hit the streets, their destination is a few kilometers away from the and they will have to trek it. After walking for a few minutes Sean stopped suddenly, he heard something that sounded like a monster's growl. Sean took out the dagger, he checked the dagger to see how sharp it is but rather, the information about the dagger appeared in his vision

Sean was surprised with how the attributes popped up in his face. He took the knife and stare at it

The system does help in clarifying his doubts but it doesn't make any changes to their safety. Sean does know one thing, in this city, you can't survive if you stay in one place. After walking for more minutes, keiran felt thirsty

"Hey girl, you know what we forget to bring from home?"

"Food and water, you were at rush and didn't remember"

"You're smart, I like that"

"One of the advantages of trying to survive in hell for months"

"What's your name and age?"

"My name, Nissa. Age, 9"

"You can fight?"

"No, but I can run, hide and kill"

"You haven't tell me your name and where we are going"

"My bas. My name is Sean and we are going to some place called benirr. I'm only following the map, I don't know where it is"

"Benirr, that is where dad and I am supposed to go tomorrow but we were attacked"

"Help…help…help"

Sean was interrupted by the scream of someone and the growl that follows it. Sean and the girl halted, they could hear running footsteps approaching them from behind. They looked back and the man who was running to them shouted

"Run, the devils are coming, Run"

"Ruuuuuun, Ruuuuuun"

The voice shouted again, Sean looked back to see why the man wants them to run. He saw something he don't know how to describe. Magma hands, burning eyes, breathing smoke, superb strength. He had read some novels that speaks about magma beings, most time they are the devils.

Sean took to his heels, grabbing the girl along. The three of them ran as fast as they can but they can never outrun the devil who is already close to them. The man who screamed earlier ran closer to Sean and said

"You see that building over there?"

"There are lots of buildings here, which one are you talking about?"

"The one that is broken down among them, we run into it and hid. We will devise a plan to kill the devil"

"Kill the devil? I don't understand"

"Run faster, he's catching up"

Sean tried to run faster bit the little girl is holding him down, Sean carried the girl on his back and run into the building with all his might leaving a considerable length of distance between him and the devil.

"Split up and hid,l. When he comes in, if he finds me first, you strike him from behind and of he finds you first I'll attack him. Don't be afraid, those devils are not that strong. Hid in a separate place from the girl and watch her back" the man gave his plan to Sean and Sean hid the girl in a coner of the broken building. Sean covered the place he he hid the girl with bricks to erase all trases of her before he also hide in another corner alternate the girl.

The devil came in and growl, he couldn't see anyone in sight. He entered into the building and started sniffing the whole area but didn't smell anyone. The devil gave up searching and was about to leave when he saw a place. This place have more bricks packed on it than other places. The devil went to it and removed all the bricks; he saw a girl under. The devil growled and and hold the girl on her, carried her up and squeezed it. Sean saw this, he ran out of his hiding place to the devil, he jumped up and strike the devil in his neck. The other man also came out if his hiding place to join Sean. The devil threw the girl down and smacked Sean's face. Sean does not only feel the pain from the slap, he also felt heat from the hand that slapped him. The devil kicked Sean away and went to the other man. The man had a g*n with him but before he could even shoot, the devil squeezed the g*n out if his hands at three it away, somewhere close to Sean. While the devil was busy punching the man, Sean stood up at took the g*n. He shot all the resolt in the g*n at the devil's head. The devil turn back at him and growled. Sean screamed loudly as he ran to the devil, he jumped on the devil's neck and strike the devil with his dagger until the devil dropped dead. He received a message from the system

[Your target is dead, you killed a devil soldier]

Sean was gasping as he rolled on the floor, the devil was hot and when he jumped on the devil's neck, he kind of burn his butts. The other man stand up with lots of bruises on his face, they both went to the girl at found her dead. Sean felt like crying and his eyes already teared up but before they fall, new messages popped up in his vision

While Sean was reading the message, his eyes went blank and tears fall off his eyes, the man that was with him mistook it for the pain of losing a loved one. The man pat Sean's back and try to console him, this is what jeered Sean out of his reading position

"It's ok man, things like this happen frequently in the apocalypse that we are in"

Sean doesn't understand 'devil lord' in his mission so he asked the man

"The devil we killed now, I thought you said he is not that strong"

"Yeah, I meant that he is devil soldiers are the weakest among the devils, there are still devil generals and devil lord"

Sean remembered the system notified him that he killed a devil soldier, now his mission is to kill a devil lord who is at minimum three times stronger than a devil soldier . For what reason? The system's mistake?

"What's your name?".

The man askwd for Sean's nane and another message appeared

Sean thought for a while, the babe that came to his mind is Sheoul so he set it as his code name

"How safe is your place?"

"Very safe, it's a place in a broken house like this, the devil soldier don't really attack collapsed buildings. Trust me"

Sean was thinking about bean's offer, he is afraid of making a wrong man a friend but then, a message appeared in his vision

Sean knew he can't do that here. Anyway, where in earth did his bounded player find a magic sword?
