33. The Silver EagleIolair and Aiden flew north through the night, the dark forest swaying and rustling endlessly beneath them. The winds picked up as they travelled and Aiden pulled his cloak close around him. As morning drew nearer Iolair shifted their bearing to the west, taking them on a wide arc around Torelia. They did not want to risk any chance of meeting the Brathadair forces before they reached Teraan City. As the sun rose they stopped to rest for a few hours, taking shelter in the trees. The wind continued, great gusts rocking the branches they sat on. It started raining too, great heavy wet drops that cut through to Aiden’s skin and made him forget it was springtime. “It’s like the sky is against us this day,” Iolair cried over the roaring wind.
