Fated Series: The First Omegaverse (Prequel)

INTRODUCTION TO OMEGAVERSE: Alphas The Alphas are the more aggressive ones out of everyone. They are the larger and stronger ones, the dominate ones in bed. They are the males or females pumped full of testosterone. Betas Betas are the normal, everyday guy. They can still breed with other Betas, but they cannot breed with Omegas or get them pregnant. With a female and male Beta, they can reproduce that way. Sometimes even a female Alpha and a female Beta would be able to reproduce. Omegas Omegas are the softer and gentler of these roles. They go through heat cycles, during this time they are most fertile. Once an Omega is bitten by an Alpha, they'll be mates for life. If they try to have s*x with another Alpha/s or Beta/s, they'll feel extremely sick. HEAT A heat is the time when the Omega is most fertile and ready to mate, or just hide away until the heat is over. If they have an Alpha mate, they will never leave their side unless they need to get their Omega food or water. Mainly, they have s*x and then rest. They keep a watchful eye over their Omega, listening to them and caring for them. But in bed, they still are the dominate ones. If an Omega has no mate, it could be dangerous to even leave the house. They could get raped, even if they protest and try to run. So, they basically lock themselves in a room and use many toys to get through this. A good part about this heat is that the Omega will self-lubricate, which means they only need to prep the Omega a bit more to have s*x. During these heats, the hormones in an Omega go all crazy. A strong scent is released during the heats, causing the Alphas to smell it and chase after the Omega. If there is already an Alpha with that Omega, they will fight the other Alphas off. Some public buildings have small rooms in their basements for any Omegas who suddenly fall into the heat and need help. Omegas can also take suppressant pills to suppress their heat. --- Vlarius has loved his adorable childhood best friend Marvin for ten years but he never confessed his feelings to him to keep their friendship intact. Now in College, Vlarius is staying in a dorm together with his most-hated person, the exchange student from Japan, Aoi Takahashi. They've been roommates for months and did not mind each other's business when Vlarius discovered Marvin already has a girlfriend. Heart broken, depressed and without knowing that the world has just undergone a change that would divide the humans into three ranks to save the declining rate of the human population, Vlarius went to his dorm to sleep only to see Aoi passed out on the floor naked. When he tried to help him, a sudden burst of weird, addicting smell filled the room. That smell suddenly made him hot and yearn for Aoi's body. Without any hesitations, the two eventually had s*x that night and became mates. We’re currently inside my dorm, watching the news. So there’s a sickness that’s going around the country. It makes the people affected by it go wild—means, losing the control of having to f**k someone. “Nah, I bet it’ll go away soon. I’ll give it two weeks, one month tops.” I said to Marvin and gave him my food, he received it with his mouth. I then wiped the sauce from the corner of his mouth using my thumb and wiped it on the tissue in front of me. “You’re still a messy eater.” I said to him. Marvin just looked at me and smiled. I smiled back to him. I really can’t bring myself to get mad to Marvin because he’s my childhood best friend and I love him. I love him. It’s the “I want to marry him” type of love. I’m gay, gay for him but he doesn’t know that. I wasn’t actually in love to him back then but when I noticed his kindness and forgiving character, I just fell. Even though I love Marvin, I’ve decided to just keep my feelings to myself to keep our friendship intact. I don’t know what will happen if I decide to confess to him. It’s either I get accepted or I get rejected and have our relationship as best friends for ten years go down to drain. I don’t want the things between us to get awkward. I’m happy and contented to our relationship as friends right now. As long as I can still take care of him and be with him, it’s alright. Though, it hurts. I’ll just keep on loving him until this love fades. But I don’t think it’ll fade anytime soon. I’ll just wait for that time to come. I patted his head and messed his hair. Marvin is shorter than me and he’s very adorable. I love his character and the way that he smiles to me. I love every single thing about him. “Come on, you need to go home.” “But I’m not finished eating yet!” Marvin said while pouting. I chuckled and shook my head. “You finished ten sandwiches, Marv. You should go.” Marvin pouted his lips and glared at me. I messed his hair again. He chuckled and cleaned his spot before exiting the room together with me. As soon as Marvin opens the door, Aoi was already in front of the door. “Oh hi there!” Marvin greeted Aoi but he just ignored Marvin’s greeting. Instead, Aoi glared at the both of us and without even saying anything, he entered the room—even slightly bumping his shoulder to Marvin’s shoulder. “Hey!” I was about to grab Aoi’s arms when Marvin stopped me. I looked at Marvin, he was shaking his head. “But—” he immediately cut me off. “It’s alright, he might’ve been just tired or something. Besides, it was just a bump on the shoulder, it’s not as if he pushed me or pushed me. It’s alright.” Marvin said to me while smiling. I smiled. This is one of the reasons why I love Marvin, he’s too kind and forgiving. He tapped my shoulder and nodded his head. “Time to go! Thank you V! Love the chicken sandwich but maybe cook something next time?” He said and joked. I chuckled and slowly shook my head. Marvin has a small figure, some people will not really know that Marvin is actually a huge eater. He loves food so much. Ah… must be nice to have a fast metabolism. You can eat whatever you want and not gain weight immediately. I sighed and waved goodbye to Marvin who’s waving at me while walking. I entered my room and my smile immediately disappeared from my face when I saw Aoi who’s currently removing his hoodie. Aoi is my roommate and he’s an exchange student from Japan. I’ve never heard him talk in English, he usually talks in Japanese and I don’t really mind. According to his classmates, he’s actually really fluent in speaking in English but only uses it in class. We go to the same academy—we even have the same schedule but we never leave or come home together. We’re just two dudes, living in one room and not minding each other’s business—as if there’s an invisible wall between us. I don’t really care actually. I just hate this guy’s guts. The first time we met, this guy instantly glared at me for no reason and ignored my existence. I get it, he’s an introvert but hey! He should act civil and talk to me once in a while because we’re roommates. I clicked my tongue and went to my bed. I opened my laptop and searched the web for the trending topics. Ah… the social media sites are filled with this topic about the heat sickness—even the news. I immediately closed my laptop and was about to leave the room when I noticed a sweet smell lingering inside the room. My eyebrows furrowed and my eyes instantly landed on Aoi who’s coughing. Did this guy just use a perfume? Whatever that perfume is, it’s too sweet. Smells like a girl’s perfume. I rolled my eyes upward and immediately left the room to get some fresh air. After minutes of walking outside, I decided to pass by Marvin’s dorm just to see his silhouette on the window. His bed is near the window and he studies very late with the lights on. Passing by his dorm like that every night became my nightly habit. It gives me the assurance that he’s home and not spending his night outside, partying and drinking like other students do. I smiled and looked at the window. There he is, just sitting in front of his computer… study… ing… My eyes slowly widened when I saw a silhouette of a woman hugging Marvin from behind. Marvin looked at the woman and even though I could just see their silhouette, I know that they kissed. Marvin… has a girlfriend. I just felt my heart breaking when I saw their silhouettes kissing and a few seconds after, the lights turned off. Marvin never turns off his room’s lights because he couldn’t sleep in the dark. I bit my lower lip as my eyes clouded with tears. I couldn’t bear this feeling anymore. I knew before that this day would come and even though I prepared myself to this heartbreaking moment, it still hurts. It’s as if I’m being stabbed by multiple knives in my chest. I immediately left that place and ran to my dorm with my eyes full of tears. When I reached the front of my room, I quickly wiped my tears away and took a deep breath before going in. I thought that I’d see Aoi on his laptop, playing some online games like he usually do but I was wrong because he’s already lying on the floor. Naked. My eyes widened. His skin is pale, he’s gasping for air and he’s shaking. “Aoi, what’s happening to you—” My words were cut off when a sudden burst of sweet, addicting smell filled the room. I suddenly felt hot and my heart just started racing. I gulped and gasped for air. What’s happening?! I immediately covered my nose and mouth with my hand and was about to help Aoi when he suddenly sat up—still gasping for air. He’s showed me an expression that he never made before. It looks like he’s in pain and thirsty at the same time. His saliva is flowing from his mouth and he’s blushing. “Aoi—” “f**k me please…” My eyebrows furrowed. “What do you—” before I could even finish my sentences, Aoi immediately cupped my face and kissed me. --- NOCTURNALBEAST
