After what Nikki told her of a cool and perfect plan to get back at the two of them, Lora decided to keep her by her side as a sort of assistant just until she is takes her revenge on the two. She had promise not to keep another close friend again or trust any girl after Sarah’s betrayal but Nikki is a like gum and she can’t push her off now.

“I am Lora Carver!” she said sharply to herself in the mirror reflection

Step one of getting her revenge on the scums is to regain her confidence and self-dignity back, she has let their betrayal get so into her that she sees herself as some sort of failure and she’s going to change that first.

A Carver never drags her head down in front of people rather she will hold her head up high like a glowing sky

“Some sort of stranger will not come and take away what you own, your happiness” Nikki had said to her before they go to bed last night.

And in the morning she woke up with feeling much better and like a boss badass that she should have been, she wake up earlier in order to prepare well for the day’s classes and it took a long time before she decide on what to wear.

“Not look too flaunting, not too simple nut just amazing”

She nods at her reflection remembering Nikki’s teaching and finally settled for a designer wear she got from her birthday gifts, she wears a wedge sandals to go with the dress and an animal skin bag she got from Sweden.

the new set of make-ups she just got made her face look perfect and she gave a wink at the mirror in front of her before finally letting her long brunette hair down and straighten it up.

Feeling so satisfied with look, she went out of her room to start the day but pump into a half-naked Sarah just coming out of her room with messy hair

“Good morning sis” she throw a sarcasm greeting

“I don’t think it’s a good morning to you Sarah, you look repellent and sickening”

Sarah who is about to give a yawn frown her face displeased at the comment she just received

“I guess you are out of your mourning period”

Not letting her get to her ever again, Lora scoff softly and head out of the house, in the park as she’s about to unlock the car’s door, Fred drove in and she watch him get off the car.

Seeing him now, she realize she doesn’t deserve such a scumbag like him, so why should she let herself be miserable while he’s having a good time

“I’m going to take that smile off your face” she promised still gazing at him not making a move

Fred who is oblivious of what she’s thinking but he feels unease at her malicious stare, it’s the first time she will give him such look and it doesn’t feel good at all

“Emm…” he tried to say something to her to get rid of the unpleasant atmosphere between them, but she took her eyes away from him, got into her car and drove off.

Fred in a confused state stared at the disappearing car until Sarah yelled for his name through the window and ask him to get in.

Alexandra stood in front of her parents who clearly doesn’t look happy at all, they just visited their daughter’s university to have her transfer to another one at a far-off city, since it wasn’t a simple task to get a transfer from a university without a legit reason, and they had to bribe their way out.

Not only did they waste a lot of money but she also has to start first year again at Julliard College which cost them a big amount of dollars.

“You better do well at this new school” they warned

Alexandra nodded her head happily not minding the unhappy faces staring sternly at her, she got what she wanted and that’s all that matters, besides she feels it’s her parent fault for sending her to a school she had no interest in

From the start of her final year in senior high school, she had inform them of the school she wanted to study at but they bluntly refuse and insist she study Law just like them, become a legal representative.

But contrary to their desire for her future, she has a very different plan for herself, one she would go to any length to achieve, which is why she intentionally flunk her exams killing their dreams and expectations of her.

“I still can’t believe you can’t cope at a law school” her father lamented

“Why choose a faraway college while you could study near home?” her mother poured her bitterness at her choice of school.

Alexandra had her head bowed not looking at their faces as she feared they might read through her, after the criticisms and words of advice, she was finally allowed to go back to her room to prepare her departure for the new college tomorrow.

The moment she had her door locked behind her, she burst out in excitement as her success, finally she will get to be with him and slowly win him back.

Feeling enthusiastic, she hurrily pick her phone and dial Chess’s number giving her the good news

“Whoa! So you’re gonna be together with Lora?” she asked happily

“Yeah” she respond and smile over the phone

“Lucky you, I’m still stuck in high school while you guys get to do and enjoy the grown up stuff” she sulked

“Maybe I should choose that college too” she suggested but Alexandra gave a laughter

“Are you giving up on Sean then?” she asked teasingly and could feel Chess’s frown over the phone

“Whatever” she wave off

“Hey, let me add Lora to the call so we can share the good news with her” she excitingly said but Alexandra quickly oppose it

“She might be busy with school activities and stuff”

“Oh, did she tell you that?”

“No, I mean yes, yes I called her just before this call with you” she lied.

They chatted for few minutes and ended the call, Alexandra dropped the phone and sigh, feeling a little upset, and she wasn’t sure why she lied about calling Lora.

Maybe she doesn’t want her to know about her transfer to the school yet, afraid she might let it out to Fred who in turn could tell Justin and that will spoil her plans

“Besides, she will be busy enjoying her college time with Fred anyways” she shrugged and start to put her things together.

“Here it goes”

Lora came out of her car and walk steadily to the lecture room where class is supposed to take place, just as planned she walk in with her head up high and with an extreme aura that says ‘I am graceful and beautiful’

Soon people begin to stare at her while some boy’s smiles at the appearance of the new student who only does not look beautiful but also wealthy, the more steps she took forward the more attention she draws to herself.

“who is she?” she could hear some girls questioning and murmuring amongst themselves as some look at her with appreciative and envious eyes, while some seems to be cussing at her for attracting too many attention.

“A new student? I didn’t notice her at the party last night” a guy said to his friend staring directly at her and throws her a playful wink.

Lora pretended not to mind the admiration or pay importance to the publicity she’s getting as she finds a seat three tables away from the front seats and sat down, her phone beeped her of a message and she open it to see

“now, this is Lora Carver” the message reads and she smile happily seeing Nikki smiling at her from the first seat, she must have been enjoying her new found popularity so much that she didn’t see her.

Three guys rush to her side and try to get closer to her, fighting among themselves who should ask her out first

“Hi gorgeous” one of the guys greeted and Lora flashed him a smile

One of the codes to follow ‘be flirtatious to all the boys that approaches you’

The guys seems smitten by her smile and stare like possessed lovers for a long time before regaining their senses and asked for her name

“What’s the beautiful name?”

Lora wanted to politely excuse herself from them and go sit with Nikki in the front seat but her roaming eyes caught a glimpse of Fred outside the class door and she quickly flash the guys a sweet innocent smile as she answers

“It’s Lora”

One of the guys made a funny joke in praise of her and she laugh out happily as she seems to be enjoying their company while she manage to caught the angry look on Fred’s face

‘Make him realize that he loses a gem and make him full of regret for cheating on you’

One of Nikki’s sentence rings to her ear and she smiles seeing that she might be nailing it already seeing the angry and jealous face of her ex

Maybe he will be so regretful and want her back, while he abandons Sarah who he left her for in the first place

‘Lastly, the goal of this code of revenge is not to get back with him but to make him lose you forever’

The words stings her hard as she remembers them and she hurrily look away from the door, she excused herself from the boys and went over to Nikki who was happy to have her sit with her

“You look radiant and glowing” she complimented but Lora finds it a bit funny since she knows why she dresses up like that

Nikki smiles as she stares and talk to her before the professor taking them the class enters and at every talk of theirs, her eyeball couldn’t stop but grins happily at the mere feeling of just looking at her.

In a fist of anger Sarah hit the bed furiously and took the bottle of wine beside her, smashing it on the floor to express her fury, she grunts noisily and could almost explode with the great anger she is feeling at the moment

“That bastard!” she cussed

Life played an unfair game on her, letting her enjoy nothingness since childhood and had to endure and face a lot of suffering, difficult just to be able to feed herself a day’s meal and most times, the little she was able to gather was most times snatched by loan sharks.

Then, after long years of suffering, life turned a good side at her and she was lucky to caught Sean’s attention which results into her getting into the family.

But when she met Lora, a spoil only child who doesn’t know the value of money or love and have everything at unwanted will, while all she gets is nothing but hard life, Lora had it all easy.

There and then, she promised herself to let this impudent teenager get a taste of her hard life and knows what heartbreak and sufferings are

Luckily for her, it was an easy thing getting Fred to sleep with her and soon trapped him in her honeycomb and then she starts her next plan with Mr. Carver, very soon she will take everything away from her and turn her into the street like her old self.

Seeing her happy or cheerful as become sort of anguish for her, as she fights herself vehemently not to tear the smile off her face

Fred Waverley is one of the treasured person of hers and she had taken him completely away from her, expecting her to be broken, sadden and even better of, killing herself, but not only did she not think of suicide as a thing to do, she now looks fresh and new like nothing ever happened

“I will tear that smile completely off her face” she swore to herself.
