Epilogue
I quickly turned my head and Shannen's lips ended up landing on my cheek.
"You're important and special to me because of what we had before, but it's long gone now, Shannen," sabi ko at naramdaman ko ang unti-unting paglayo niya sa aking mukha. "I can still be your reliable friend pero hanggang doon na lang yon."
"Is there someone else now?" bigla niyang tanong at napatingin ako sa kanya habang siya ay nakayuko.
"I'm actually married now, Shannen, and we're going to have a child soon," I told her the truth so she would finally understand.
With her eyes widened from my sudden revelation, Shanne lifted her gaze at me. It was pretty obvious that she doesn't believe what I've just said.
"I'm not bluffing just to make myself less of a jerk because I really am married." sabi ko.
