The Rogue Alpha And His Wolfless Luna

CHAPTER 5

Alice stared at her mum in confusion, she didn’t understand what she was talking about. Maybe she was blaming herself for the constant bullying she got from people in the pack.

“Don’t say that mother. I don't blame you for the unfortunate situation that happened to me. Okay?”

Not saying anything further, Luna Athena nodded her head in agreement.

The morning came fast and Alice remembered she hadn’t trained in a long time. She quickly showered, once she was through, she got dressed and stormed to the training center where Stella and the other girls were having a session.

Most of them were in their werewolf form while some were in their human form including Lily. She and Lily trained for a bit before finally taking a rest.

Since the day she caught her sister with Lucas, she’s been avoiding her. Recently she’s been hearing some rumors going around in the pack about Stella being the next Luna.

One day she was in the kitchen and one of the maids whispered “Lucas made a good choice by not choosing someone weak for us”. Alice felt horrible when she heard that.

“Wolfless b***h” She heard one of Stella’s friend murmur. She saw Stella whisper something in the girl’s ear and they both snickered.

Alice could feel the anger building inside her, waiting to be unleashed. No longer able to bear it, she lunged forward, attacking Stella. With a loud growl, she pounced at her and everyone screamed out in amusement.

She clenched her hands in a fist and threw a punch that landed on Stella’s jaw.

“Alice ... .Alice….calm down, you have to calm down” Lily screamed at her and pulled her away from Stella who was breathing rapidly.

Alice was never one to lose control, she was used to their constant bickering but she felt like she was on edge.

“You b***h!” Stella’s eyes turned red showing her wolf was about to come out. “Just watch, I will be Luna and I will make you regret your entire existence!” Stella exclaimed in a loud voice and everyone around her could not help but gasp. She picks up her training bag and storms out.

Alice finally exhales loudly.

“Alice you need to calm down, I understand you are very emotional right now but Stella is still your sister.” Lily expressed as the crowd slowly went back to their training while Alice stared at her with disapproval.

“I thought you were on my side, Lily?”

“Yes! I am on your side which is why I don’t want you to do something that you will regret”

“Didn’t you see her on the day of the mating ceremony, she seduced him instead of finding hers”

“Yeah! What she did was brutal but you need to calm down. Plus he’s an alpha, he has a choice to be with whoever he chooses”

“Did you just say that to me? I thought you were my friend but it turns out you are on her side!” Alice scoffs and storms out of there.

The entire day felt sore for her, she spent it training so hard hoping that it would help her forget everything that had happened.

Alice didn’t realize she had fallen asleep until she was woken up by the loud noise.

“EVERYONE ROGUE ATTACK!!” Alice jolted up and ran through the hallway. The only person on her mind this time was her mother, she was relieved when she got to her mother’s room and she was safe.

She got to the front of the pack and the warriors from the moonclaw pack had already shifted to their werewolf form.

A rogue werewolf lunged at her, its teeth baring and claws flashing in the moonlight. She reacted swiftly by punching him and he stumbled backwards.

The battle was intense but the moonclaw pack had the upper hand, they fought off the retreating werewolves. Alice was heading to her room when she heard a scream from Stella’s room.

She bolted there but she saw a wolf with golden brown fur running out of the room, her eyes widened in shock and her heart began racing. She slowly opened the door to her room and her fears became reality when she saw her sister’s bloodied body.

Stella looked like she was stabbed so many times, her eyes wide like she saw something scary. Alice was about to call for help when Lucas came into the room and stared at Alice with wide eyes.

“She….she’s dead” Alice gasped as tears threatened to fall.

“You killed her!” Lucas roared

“What?!” Alice furrowed her brows in confusion.

“Lily told me about the confrontation you had with Stella, she was scared you were going to do something crazy and asked me to speak to you. I never thought it would come to this, Alice.” Lucas looks at her in disgust.

“Guards! Arrest her!” Lucas ordered. Before she knew it, the guards came and he was arrested and taken to the Alpha’s chambers. Everything happened too fast, and Alice was confused. Why was she accused of her sister’s murder?

“IT'S THE ROGUES! I saw someone coming out of her room!” Alice screams tears threatening to fall. She spoke, looking around for someone, anyone who could back her up. She looked at Lily, hoping for Lily to say something but she shook her head in disbelief.

“What is wrong with all of you? Say something! I wouldn’t hurt an ant!” She yelled, and the room burst into a cacophony of mumbles.

Lily stepped forward and said “Alice fought with Stella earlier today, she was hurt by the Alpha’s rejection and jealous of the fact that Stella spent a night with the alpha. I guess this is why she did what she did”

Alice looked at her best friend in disbelief, she couldn’t believe the one person she trusted could do this to her. She turned to look at her mother, her mother was sobbing in the corner of her room.

“What are you saying, Lily?! There is no proof that I killed Stella!” She yelled.

“We searched her room!” They announced, revealing that they were the people who had been sent to search her room.

“Did you find anything?” Lucas asked

“We found this.”

The crowd erupted into a chaos of screams and curses at me as the soldiers brought out a bloody knife wrapped in a cloth.

“No” she shook her head, drawing their attention to her. “No. That is not mine! That is not mine. I have never seen that knife in my entire life! I didn’t do it.”

“Where did you find it?” Lucas questioned the soldiers.

“Under her bed” they replied.

She turned around still looking for someone who would support her, but they were all looking at her in disgust.

“I am not a murderer! I would never murder my sister!” She screamed out loud like it would make them believe her.

“ALICE, YOU HAVE BEEN FOUND GUILTY OF KILLING STELLA! Take her to the dungeon. Her trial is set for the next two days" Lucas ordered the soldiers who took her hands and dragged her towards the dungeon.
