My whole body shuddered. I may looked calm, but my mind is in turmoil. I somehow manage to smile. How dare he look at me like that, as if he lived a hellish life!
Tumikhim ako't suminghap. I smiled again. He's still gawking at me as if he had seen a living dead. Perhaps, that's what he really thinks.
What am I supposed to do in this terrible situation!? Ano bang dapat kong maramdaman? Galit? Lungkot? Kaba? Takot? Sumakit ulo ko sa lahat ng 'to! He snapped then smiled awkwardly. Umismid ako.
"I-I haven't seen you in such a long time. Six years..." he nodded slowly, trailing off. "K-Kamusta ka na?" Tanong niyang parang matagal na niya ako gustong makita.
