Isabelle  POV

I hear a rhythmic beeping to my right. Heart monitor.

I listen harder for anything else, so that I can see where I am. I hear 5 other heartbeats besides mine in here. I keep my breathing even and my heartbeat normal.

I focus more so that I can hear what they are saying.

"How many doses?" I hear a voice say. It has shivers running up my spine. What..?

"In total s-sir?" Pause. "N-nine..? Ten? I d-don't know.. I wasn't there. S-she just wouldn't s-stop."

Nine doses?  Of what?

I hear 2 powerful growls, followed by the sound of a whimper and what sounds like someone being thrown into a wall. I slowly peek my eye open and I see a man holding another man by his neck. The other three people that are in here are just staring at the other two men, although one looks just as mad as the other one holding the man by his neck. All of their backs are to me. I slowly get off the bed and move over to the table beside the wall. I pick up a blade off of the table and grab the closest man to me, twisting him into a choke hold with the blade tucked into my hand, pressed into the side of his neck. The movement catches the eye of all the other men into the room. They all watch my movements, knowing that I hold this man's life in my hands.

"Where am I?" I ask in a growl. The man moves in my arms, trying to get away. No one makes a move to answer me and it makes me mad.

"ANSWER ME!" I yell out, shaking the windows of this room.  They all flinch from the sound, all except for two. I look at the two identical men in the eye and look away quickly. I push the blade into his neck with a little force, just enough to draw blood. The blood trickles down the side of his neck, onto where his hand is pulling my arm. One of the men step forward but I stop him with a growl.

"Just tell her where she is!" the man yells from my arms, now struggling to breathe. I haven't cut off his supply to air...yet.

"Your in Crescent Creek territory.. M-my Alpha j-just wanted to have a talk with y-you." the man stutters out. I give him a hard look, trying to see if he is lying. "I s-swear!"

"For what? What does he want to talk to me for?" I ask. He was about to answer but he gets cut off from a voice behind me. "I wanted to talk to you about earlier."

He catches me off guard and  I send the blade flying toward his face. He moves just in time for it to just graze his ear and go into the wall behind him. I let the man go and push him onto the floor. I move till my back is against the wall, with all 6 of the men in view.

"What about earlier?" I ask after a moment of silence. Not even bothering to say sorry about throwing the sharp object at him. He moves further into the large room and I give him a sharp look. He stops and puts his hands up. "We're not going to hurt you." He says gesturing to the rest of the men in the room. I nod my head, but stay in my corner that I am in. I still need to keep all of them into view.

"What about earlier?" I ask again. He looks at me up and down. "Let's talk in my office, where we can all sit down and chat. We can get you some-"

"No." I cut him off. "We can talk now so that I can leave."

"You are not leaving." he states flatly.

"Do not tell me what to do." I growl lowly at him, my control slipping from me. He takes a couple of steps back, along with everyone else. Well everyone except the two identical twins, who take a step forward.

I take a deep breath, calming down. "How about I make everyone leave?" he suggests. The twins both let a growl escape them. I give a barely noticeable nod and he gestures for them to leave. The twins stay where they are. It seems like they aren't going anywhere.

I opened my mouth to say something about the two, but I am cut off. "We're not leaving." I look towards the Alpha, he just shakes his head, trying to suppress a smile.

"It's not like I'm gonna hurt her. " he says looking at the twins. They just give him a bored look and he raises his hands in mock surrender.

"Can we get this over with, please?" I say taking them from their conversation. They converse like family.

He sighs. "Forgive me" he looks confused, like he doesn't know where to start. "I am Alpha Nathaniel Smith of the Crescent Creek Pack. May I ask your name?"

"Isabelle." Is all that I give him.

"Well, Isabelle, I just wanted to ask you about what happened earlier with my Beta. You gave him a hell of an ass whooping which was unexpected. He is one of the best fighters in my pack." he chuckles.

"He growled at me, I growled back and pushed him. He told me not to tell him what to do, so I showed him what happens when you tell me what to do." I pause.

"I mean no harm to your pack, honest, he was just in the wrong place, wrong time." I told him honestly. He nods his  head in understanding and takes a cautious step forward.

"I believe you, it's just a couple of questions that I have to ask you and I will be absolutely done." I nod my head and he continues. " Would you like to go somewhere comfortable or would you like to stay here?" he asks me. I weigh my chances. If I stay here, it's a possibility that they could corner me.. and I hate to say it, but those twins look powerful as heck. But if I leave, more wolves could jump me,  and I cannot defend myself here. I am way out numbered.

I decided to take my chances. "If I go to your office, I would like no one else present." I tell him.

"No one will be present."

I nod my head and he takes a step closer to me. I match him, taking a step back against the wall. He stops and sighs. "Follow me."

He leads me out of the room and down the hall. The twins are behind me, I guess making sure that I don't leave, and effectively scaring off whoever we pass by.

We make it to his office, which is on the 4th floor, and he leads me inside. I turn to close the door, but the twins push pass me. Who are they?

Ellie?

Nothing.

Ellie.. tell me you are fine. please.  I send through our link. She doesn't respond and that worries me. I am brought out of my thoughts when Alpha Nathaniel calls my name. I slowly turn to face him. "Please take seat." he says motioning to the chair in front of his desk. I look around his office and take note of where the twins are.

They are blocking all possible exits. The alpha has the door, and each of the twins have stood in front of the windows. I sigh and walk over to his desk. I turn the chair and scoot it as far as I can to the wall, and then I take a seat. I am not going to keep my back to people that I don't even know.  

"Let's get started with all you remember from earlier."

I nod and get my thoughts together. "I remember choking your beta.. and some growls came from behind me. I paid no attention to it and after that I found myself being thrown into a tree. After that I don't remember anything. Nothing but Ellie getting up and that's it. I wasn't in control." I pause. Did I hurt anyone?

"Alpha Nathaniel.. " He looks up at me, from where he was previously looking at his hands. "Did I hurt anyone? I  don't remember if I did, and if I did, I am terribly sorry." I say honestly. It's always like that. When Ellie gets control, I don't remember anything, and usually someone ends up dead.

He shakes his head.

"No one got hurt.. well for the most part. You just wouldn't calm down, so we kind of had to force you to."

I give him a questioning look and he looks... nervous? "Well you see, you lunged at me and one of my warriors shot you with some wolfs bane.. to calm you down. But instead of calming you down it made you more.. aggressive." he explains.

"How many times? How many doses?" I ask, raising my eyebrow. He takes a deep breath and it looks  like he is counting mentally.

"10 times. Your wolf is powerful. It takes about that much to put the Alpha Kings down." he says looking behind me. "Kings? There are two?" I say confused. He nods. "Yup." he says popping the 'p'.

He gestures for the twins to come forward. They share glances and come towards his desk. I scoot back when they come to a stop in front of me.

The twin with the blue gray eyes speaks first. "I'm Sebastian." he sticks out his hand for me to take and I stare at it. When he realizes I am not going to take it he pulls it back. "I'm Austin." I hear the other twin say. His eyes are blue green and his voice is a little bit deeper. He doesn't stick out his hand, and I'm glad for that.

"Cool." I turn back to Alpha Nathaniel. "So?" I ask. He chuckles and shakes his head. "They are my nephews. Want to take a guess on who they are?"

I take a moment in my head before turning to them. "The Kings." Both of them nod their heads and i look back and forth between the two before lowering my gaze. I will not kneel. Kings or not, i will not. "Forgive me, Your Highnesses."

"Do not call us that. You may call me by my name, and Sebastian by his." I hear Austin say. I nod my head. We sit in silence for a minute, letting everything I just learned digest into my head.  I take that time to try and talk to Ellie.

Ellie?

Ellie are you okay? What's going on.  I feel her presence there, but she is not talking to me. "Isabelle." I hear Sebastian say. The way my name rolls off of his tongue sends shivers up my spine. I shake my head.

No. No.

I immediately stand. "I-i have to go." I tell Alpha Nathaniel. He doesn't have time to answer me because i am already turned around and about to open the door.

However, before I can open the door, someone else does. I freeze in my spot, and take a deep intake of breath.

"....Luna Elizabeth?"
