chapter 11: presh's Pov

I woke up the next morning energized. I dressed up and went downstairs but my aunt and uncle is not up yet. I opened the door and went towards the woods for a run. At the entrance of the woods. I removed my clothes so as not to shred them into pieces when I shift. I shifted and allowed my wolf to feel and breathe in the fresh air.she have not been herself since her mate raised up his hand to slap her and when he cheated on her she whimpered in pain. And the woods,in the open air will release all the bottled up emotions with in.

We started running though the woods. We ran for a long while until we sniffed a familiar scent which stopped us in our tracks. She stopped and sniffed the air again that's when she was certain that, that was her mate. She was about walking to the scent when I stopped her.

'don't even think about going towards your mate this time around he will end up killing us since no One is here to stop him'. I stopped her in her tracks.

' He can never do that's she said still walking towards her mate.

' That's what you said when you first meet him, that he will never reject us, but is this not as good as rejecting us and don't forget what he did yesterday when he cheated on us" I reminded her which made her whine in pain.

"Okay and given the control back to you now "she said as she gave the control back to me.

When I shifted back, I went behind a tree and I searched for some clothes I found one and came out when I came out and found out that his scent is getting stronger, which means that he is coming closer to us. I didn't really want to see him, so I sprinted and started running out of the woods. He seem to notice that I'm running away from him and he started chasing me which I noticed when his scent got stronger. I ran faster and headed home,He couldn't catch up to me. When I got home. I went straight to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for my aunt and uncle. Because I know that they are too tired looking after me the previous night.

I prepared oat meal and lobster roll for breakfast. When I finished cooking I putted the delicacy in the plate. When I finish arranging the meal in the plates, my aunt came into the kitchen.

"Good morning aunt "and greeted removing my apron.

"Good morning sweetheart, how was your night?". She asked.

"My night was fine aunt"I answered. Hanging my apron and washing my hands.

"what did you make for breakfast" she asked as she open the plates.

"Mmmmm... Looks and smells delicious" she said bringing the trays.

"alright aunt, I want to go and take my bath and get ready for school "I said heading towards the stairs.

"ok" she answered arranging the table.

I went up the stairs and headed for my room. I took my bath and dressed up. And headed for the exits of my room.

"hello Mike?". I called out to him when he answered my call.

"Hello princess am at the entrance" he answered before I could say anything.

"okay, I'm coming"I answered heading towards the dining.

"Good morning Dad" I greeted hugging my uncle from the back.

"morning princess "my uncle greeted drinking some water.

"Your meal is really delicious" He complimented.

"Thanks Dad, I'm off for classes".

" Are you not having your breakfast" my aunt asked.

"No aunt and late already" I answered.

"Bye aunt, bye Uncle". I greeted heading towards the Exit.

" Bye princess" They greeted in unison.

I went outside and headed for Mike's car.

" Morning Mike?. I greeted hugging him.

"Morning princess". He greeted, hugging me back.

" Let's go, we are late already" I said dragging him towards the car. We entered and drove off.

Alpha Kelvin's POV

I woke up this morning and headed towards the woods, to take in some fresh air and run in my wolf form. I removed my clothes so as not to shred them into pieces. I put them behind a tree and shifted. I ran into the woods. I ran for a long while until I get to a fallen branch. I shifted back into my human form and sat down on the bench, looking at the scenery in front of me.

I relaxed until I smelt my mates sent. I was surprised on what she was doing out here, before I knew what was happening her scent started fading away which means that she is leaving. I know that she noticed my presence and doesn't want to talk to me and purposely left or she did not want to see me but that is impossible because every mate wants to be with their soulmate. Which only means one thing she is running away from me.

I stood up from the fallen branch and started running after her. I got a glimpse of her and saw her running, I tried catching up with her but she increased her speed. I also increased my speed, until I tripped and fell down before I could get up, she was out of my sight. I followed her scent and found out that she went home. I went back to the pack house and went straight to my study and banged the door shut. I light up a cigarette and took a drag.

"Mayor, what did you think is the reason why she ran away?"I asked Mayor but received nothing but silence.

"Mayor, can you talk to me" I received the same response 'quietness'.

"Mayor?, Mayor?" I called out to him again but he didn't say anything. I know that he is there, because I can feel his presence.

"Mayor, what is this?, Why are you so quiet?" But he never responded. Before I knew it, I have finished two packet of cigarettes. I was really frustrated.

Until I felt a sharp pain in my heart. I knelt down clutching unto my chest in pain.

'What's wrong with me' I thought.

"Did you feel that?" best Maya asked finally talking to me.

"Yes I did, it is so painful" I answered almost shouting out in agony.

" it is caused by being cheated on by your mate"he answered.

"That Damned girl she seems to like flirting with a lot of guys". I said standing up from the ground,as the pain subsided.

"Not so fast kelv"mayor interrupted my moment.

"Why shouldn't I she's such a b**** "I said almost angered to death and heading towards the door to meet her. When mayor's next words stopped me in my tracks.

"Did you remember what you did last night" mayor asked.

" No "I answered.

"You won't remember, when you cheated on her with Patricia. You made her suffer the pain for three whole hours but you just experienced it for a few minutes and you are this angry" He answered in a sad tone.

"Even her wolf refused to talk to me because of what you did they had a sleepless night yesterday" he said in pain, which I felt. 'now I know the reason she ran away'I thought. I started craving for her presence Even the more. I really need to feel and touch her body or else.

I'm going to lose my mind.
