chapter 10. Alpha Kelvin's Pov

Immediately I enter the Pack house, I went straight to my room and lock the door. I don't know what to do, I threw my glass flower vase on the floor but it didn't disperse my anger and frustration.

A knock came to my door. I opened it and saw Dave standing out the door.

"It's time for meeting with the elders of the pack. Let's go". He said and turned around and headed for the meeting room.

"You know, sometimes I always think that am not the Alpha anyone, you are too mean and bossy" I said closing my door and following behind him.

" It's because you are such a jerk ". He answered as he entered the meeting room.

We finished our meeting by 2 p.m. but it didn't end well because I was on the edge. I left the meeting and headed towards my room. I was stopped in my tracks by Patricia.

"Kelvin?"she called out to me.

"What did you want? "I asked impatiently.

"Let's go hang out for a while" she requested.

"No" I answered.

" Why?"She asked.

"Am busy"I answered heading towards my room.

"you are always busy, can't you spare me a little time" she asked expectantly following me.

"I said 'NO' "I roared stopping in my tracks.

She stopped for a while and headed for her room.

I headed for my room with flow of anger a emitting from me.

"Mayor?, Mayor?" I called out to my wolf as I entered my room.

"I don't want to talk to you" he answered.

"what is it now" I confused.

"what is it?, are you really asking me what it is? "He asked.

"Tell me what the problem is, I'll handle it". I requested.

"handle it?,did you think you can?" He asked.

"Since 8 years, I have known you, I have never seen you raise your hand to any woman. But today you did it, not to any simple girl but to my very own mate". He complained.

"Did you really hate me that much?" He questioned.

"Please not about your mate again, I know that raising my hand to her was very bad, but what can I do, it have already been done" I answered.

"if she rejects me, I will also leave you and you will be a human, during rogue attacks, I won't help you out. Then you can die with your Ego" he said in anger.

I took my rest and woke up in 2 hours later, and went back to the study room and work till 10 p.m. I had my dinner in the study. When I came out, I headed for my room. I opened the door and closed it behind me and headed to my bed room. I took a shower and headed to my bed when I got to my bed I noticed that someone was laying on my bed.

"Who are you" I held the person's throat tightly, ready to kill the person if I didn't get any response.

"Kelvin, it's me, it's me" Patricia said Chocking.

I released her. I was shocked and switched on the light. That's when I saw that Patricia was the one laying on my bed wearing a transparent bikini. It could have turned me on any other day, but not today especially not after meeting my mate "what did you think that you are doing?" I asked furiously.

"Baby don't get angry you are always busy lately so I decided to come and spend the night with you "she answered. Her hand running up and down my chest seductively.

"Head back to your room I need some rest " I answered removing her hand from my body, pouring a cup of water for myself.

"I told you that I'm not "I said in anger.

That's the last straw that broke the camel's back, I tore her bikini into pieces and pushed her onto the bed. I was sleeping when I felt a sharp pain in my heart. I jerked up and felt the pain again. Tears ran down my cheeks. It's too painful to withhold. I'll let out a sharp cry. my aunt and uncle came rushing into my room.

"Princess, what is it?" my aunt asked hugging me while I hold onto my chest.

"what is it?"my uncle also asked concerned.

I didn't say anything but continued holding my chest.

"what is it, please talk to us?" My aunt pleaded.

"aunty it's too painful" I said still crying.

"What's painful" my uncle asked.

I pointed towards my chest, that's when reality dawned on them.

" princess, how could you keep such a big thing from us, you found your mate and now he's cheating on you. who is that" my uncle scolded and asked.

I never said a word. After about 1 to 2 hours the pain eventually subsided indicating that he is done with tormenting and torturing me. I eventually fell asleep, my aunt and uncle went back to their room, while I will slept.
