I’m sorry that this chapter is not that interesting
Isabella Moretti’s P.O.V
I rubbed my eyes, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep. It was my first day of work as a barista at the trendy cafe down the street, and i was both nervous and excited. I couldn't believe I had landed the job so quickly, thanks to the mysterious man I had met a yesterday.
As I got dressed, l couldn't help but think about him. He had been handsome, charming, and had helped me get the job at the cafe. I had been struggling to find work after the incident , and he had appeared out of nowhere, offering her a helping hand. I still didn't know his name, he told me he is the owner but I couldn't shake off the feeling that there was something special about him. I hope to see him today
As i made my way to the cafe, I couldn't help but feel a little intimidated. The cafe was always bustling with trendy young professionals, and I couldn't help but feel like I didn't quite fit in. But I pushed those thoughts aside and put on a confident smile as i walked through the door.
"Good morning, Isabella!" Maria greeted me on a call "How are you feeling on your first day?"
"I'm a little nervous, but mostly excited,"I replied, trying to sound more confident than I felt.
"You'll do great, don't worry," Maria reassured her. "Now, go put on that apron and make some delicious coffee for all those hipsters out there!"
“Are you not angry that I left without saying bye?” I asked
“Why should I” she replied laughing “have a nice day my love” she cut the call afterwards
Isabella chuckled and headed to the back to get changed. As she put on her apron and started setting up the coffee bar, she couldn't help but feel a sense of pride.
The morning rush began, and Isabella found herself getting into the rhythm of things. She was surprised at how quickly she picked up the tasks, and her coworkers were impressed with her efficiency. As she handed a latte to a customer, she couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment.
As the day went on, Isabella got to know her coworkers better. They were all young and friendly, and she felt like she had found a new group of friends. They joked and laughed together as they worked, and Isabella felt like she was fitting in just fine.
"Hey, Isabella," her coworker, Jake, said as he handed her a cup of coffee. "You're doing great for your first day. Keep it up."
"Thanks, Jake," Isabella replied with a smile. "I'm really enjoying it here."
As the afternoon went on, the cafe started to slow down, and Isabella finally had a chance to take a breather. She sat down at a table with her coworkers, and they chatted about their lives outside of work. Isabella talked about her best friend Maria , who was a lawyer, and how she was still trying to figure out what she wanted to do with her life.
"Maybe you should consider going to law school like Maria," Jake suggested. "You seem smart and driven, I'm sure you'd do great."
Isabella chuckled. "I don't know if I'm cut out for law school. I've always been more of a creative type."
"Well, whatever you decide to do, I'm sure you'll be successful," Jake said with a smile.
As the day came to an end, I couldn't believe how quickly it had gone by. I had enjoyed every moment of it and felt grateful for the opportunity. As she was packing up to leave, her manager, David, approached her.
"Hey, Isabella, I just wanted to say you did an amazing job today," David said with a smile. "You're a natural at this, and I'm glad to have you on the team."
"Thank you so much, David. I'm really happy to be here," I replied, beaming with pride.
As I got outside to see Maria waiting for me outside with her car, I couldn't stop talking about her first day at work. I was excited to go back tomorrow and continue to learn and grow in my role as a barista.
“If you keep on talking, it might probably replay in my dream” she said chuckling. I knew that was my cue to keep quiet
I lay in bed that night, my thoughts kept going back to the mystery man. I wondered if i would ever see him again and if he would ever reveal his identity. I was kinda sad that i didn’t see him today. But for now, i was content with the new job and the new friends I had made. Everything else would fall into place eventually.
