16. Breaking point

Angelica's POV

It had been what felt like days since I was last allowed to see. I was forced to eat like a dog and sleep on the floor. Most of my days were left with the same treatment of torture as before. I was beginning to enjoy it though... I will not lie... The freedom of not having to make choices... everything being chosen for you... I loved it but I wished it was David that was in control. I had so much time to think and the more I didn't want to hurt him but I also wanted to be with him. 

I was told I had only a few more hours to decide before it would get worse and would be really painful for him. I wasn't sure what they meant by that though. I guess they mean that they will have another werewolf try to have s*x with me. That would be the worst thing they could do. But if I comply, who's to say that won't happen anyway... but at least if I comply, David won't be left to hurt... it would just hurt when I reject him... I hope he would accept it... just to end the suffering... but then I thought of my pack. Mother said doing this protects them. The battle will not happen if I am to give in to the desires of my enemy. I could almost hear her voice again....

"To protect those you care for, give in to your enemy. To protect the world, trust in your allies and fight for your love."

I was definitely torn on what to do. 

Angel... Angel we found where you are! We found the hidden lair... Please keep fighting and hang on... we are coming for you.
