Angelica's POV
The breeze was the only sound heard in the night. All of the pack was sleeping except for me. I was restless. I merged my pack with David's to make one large pack and it was much better than before. There was no longer any animosity between the packs. That allowed David and me to grow closer. I watched the trees move ever so slightly with the wind and sighed. So much was going to change yet again and I hoped it would be for the better.
"Angel? What are you doing outside so late? Are you okay?"
"I'm okay dear. I got something for you."
I hurried over to my desk and handed a blue gift bag with white tissue paper to David. He just chuckled as he started to open it. He pulled out a coffee mug with a baby onesie tucked inside. The mug was blue with the words "Best Dad Ever" on it. The onesie said "Best Twin Ever" David looked from the mug and onesie to me and back again as he was connecting the dots.
"Really? I'm going to be a father?"
"Yes, baby... I just found out this morning. "
"How far along?"
"Well... the pack doctor says I should be ready to deliver in a couple of months."
"Wait... so..."
"The weight gain I couldn't explain... the cravings... it was all part of the pregnancy. Oh, so we need to go shopping tomorrow."
"Angel... you amaze me more and more every day... I fall in love with you more and more and I can't help but be thankful to have you by my side... You are going to be an amazing mother... so do we know the genders?"
"Well, we are having a boy and a girl. I was thinking Cayden and Cassandra."
"Cayden and Cassandra... I like it... perfect names for perfect babies from their perfect mother..."
"Perfect? No. I'm not perfect. No one is. Remember, we are not defined by our personalities. But rather by our actions."
"Yes, and your actions led to you being my Luna and the mother of my pups. So that is the definition of perfection to me."

5 years later

"Cayden! Be nice to your sister!"
"But Mom... it's my job as the big brother!"
"You are only older than me by 5 minutes!"
"Yeah but that means I have 5 minutes of wisdom over you!"
"Mom!"
"Cassandra quit whining. Cayden stop pushing your sister's buttons."
"But it's fun!"
Life with kids has definitely been a challenge... but I wouldn't change it for the world. I can't help but look forward to the future and seeing how these kids grow up and what they grow to be.
