Me, Alex, my parents and Horatio stood in front of the lake. A few steps behind us there was a row of the pack's best warriors. Among them stood Oriana, Robert, Dora, Eli and Adam, Alex's father. Deeper in the woods, hiding among the trees stood hundreds of warriors in both human and wolf forms, ready to fight.
Everyone who is too young or too old to fight, as well as those who are not fighters are hidden in the pack’s safe house. A bunker hidden beneath the ground. Jonathan, Darius, Catherine and Sally stayed there, although it was not easy to make them wait patiently.
