I walked downstairs and texted Asteria my decision. Kira won't know what happened, I don't want this scum's death to weigh on her.
I saw a car parking in front of the building, Alex and Ryan emerged from it.
They came to me and I shook Ryan's hand and Alex engulfed me in a hug.
"Congratulations man, I haven got a chance to say that yet." He chuckled and patted my back.
"Yeah, who knew meeting a mate can create such a mess." I laughed and Ryan followed.
"Yeah, tell me about it." Alex grinned but stopped as we heard Asteria cleaning her throat behind him.
"Excuse me? I'm such a burden to you then?" She came closer, her arms crossed on her chest and eyes were shooting daggers at her mate.
"Babe, sweetheart, it's not what I meant." Alex whined, trying to hug her.
