Kira opened the doors to her small apartment. It had only one room with a kitchen in it and a small bathroom.
“It's very small, I'm sorry. It was the only apartament i was able to rent after leaving the foster home.” She said shyly as I looked around.
The inside was extremely neat and clean. Even though it was small, it was homey and it smelled like my mate, like summer fruits. I smiled at her.
“It's adorable. It suits you.” I grabbed her hand and sat with her on a small bed.
“What it's like where you live.” She asked, interwining her fingers with mine.
