When we arrived at the pack house we all gathered in Alpha’s quarters. I laid Asteria in our bed and covered her with a blanket. I kissed her forehead and left the room, leaving it slightly open, so I can hear if she wakes up.
We all sat around the coffee table in our living room and I was mentally praising myself for having a very large couch and many armchairs.
