Nyx:
The town car pulled up to the fancy little bistro in the center of town. “Wow, fancy! What are we doing here?”
“It's a place my father really likes. It's one of his favorites,” Rory said as he got out of the car.
“I don't think anyone has taken me anywhere like this before.” I had a hint of sadness in my voice. I got out of the car. I was intimidated by such a fancy place. My brother would say it was too good for me. That isn't worth it.
We entered the restaurant, his hand in mine. He made me feel so safe. We went straight to the back. In one of the private rooms we found Father, Bella and Leo. As we entered, they all stood up and bowed.
“Hello all.” Rory greeted them. There was an undertone to his voice I didn't recognize. The events at the temple bothered him.
