Feelings and a party

Nyx:

The mating ceremony was scary and exciting at the same time. I was all so new and foreign to me. My brother doesn't take me to any special events or dinners. Cane always came up with an excuse for me not attending anything.

The first part of the ceremony reminded me of a simple wedding ceremony mortals have. I loved hearing him claim me as his mate. It made my heart skip a beat but race at the same time. My stomach fluttered with a million butterflies. My wolf leaped with joy. That was odd. I never felt her before.

When his father announced the marking part of the ceremony, I almost fainted. I heard it hurt. Yet, when I heard the maids talk about it they were smiling. I always wondered what that was about.

Rory showed such concern for me. “Are you ready?”

“Yes,” I told him. Even though I was scared .

When he bit me, it hurt at first. I know he felt me flinch but the feeling after that. That feeling was euphoric. Like hundreds of fireworks going off, and my mind became a whirlwind. I only felt him. It was like I was suspended in ecstasy.

When I bit him, I instantly felt a connection. It was like our spirits intertwined. I was him and he was me. I wanted him right then. I knew he felt the same. I felt it in my soul and in his great arousal. There were so many people around it was almost embarrassing. Could they tell that i wanted him?

The rest of the night was a blur. I only remember fragments. We danced, everyone but me drank, we conversed and enjoyed the entertainment. I don't remember what else went on. I just remembered I wanted to be alone with Rory and further our bond.

I wanted him. He is so handsome. His long brown hair flowed down his shoulders. His bronze skin glowed with kisses from the sun. By the goddess, I wanted him. I wanted him more than anything I ever wanted in my life. When the night finally ended, my body came alive with anticipation.
