Chapter Seven

This change felt new, exciting and thrilling... I ran through the woods with every wolf in attendance joining me and the lycan royals by our side.

I headed toward the cliff and dived into the lake, emerging back into my human form... I was not long followed by Jack. Watching him change back into his human form was mesmerising... Watching his fur turn back into tattooed skin, I saw his muscled chest with a huge tattoo of a tattoo glisten under the light from the full moon under the water.

I swam towards the shore with Jack closely behind me

"I see you wore your birthday present" Jack said to me as we swam

"Its beautiful, thank you" I replied to him getting out of the water hoping to dry off quickly

"Its nothing compared to you Rox..." he moved closer to me moving a strand of hair away from my face

"Jack, you haven't spoken to me in 2 years and now you expect everything to be fine" I felt the sparks as he was so close to my body... My wolf screaming in my head 'mate'

"I'm sorry Rox... I wanted to be here, to see you, talk to you... Maybe explain..."

"Explain what?" I knew what he wanted to say but I wanted to hear it from him...

"That you're my... My mate. I always knew from the day we first met as children" my heart was pounding, my wolf was jumping around in my head, yipping happily at his words

"Then what are you going to do?"

Before I knew he'd grabbed me, pulled me close and started kissing me... It felt like electricity surging from my lips throughout my entire body and I loved it.
