Claire had resolved herself to savor every moment that life offered her. She was madly in love with Trad, and she was madly in lust with Emily.
She reasoned that the cowboy felt the same way. Madly in love with her. Madly in lust with Emily.
At least she hoped that was the case.
To be truthful, she didn’t really care. She learned that the rules of society and the norms of the working class, somehow simply cease to be of importance to the wealthy. Whatever arrangement she now found herself in would most certainly be labeled as “complicated” in the “real world”. However, in the world of luxury jets, sprawling ranches which ran from Canada to Mexico, personal assistants, Michelin star chefs and private yachts, rules of relationships somehow ceased to be of importance.
