Leo’s POV The next morning came with the sound of heavy footsteps and the scrape of metal on metal. I bolted upright, my heart pounding as the door to my room swung open. The same man from before stepped inside, his expression as unreadable as ever. Behind him, another man followed, dragging a small table with straps and strange tools I didn’t recognize. “Get up,” the first man ordered, his voice firm but not loud.
