A L Y S S A "You just going to walk past me like you don't know me?" Trey's voice dripped in pretention. I just kept walking to the sound of his footsteps behind me. "Alyssa?" "I'm not going to be another one of your little one night stands, I'm not that kinda girl." I said, still walking away from him. "Who said you was going to be a one night stand? I was hoping for more than that." I could picture the smirk on his face. "Then you got the wrong girl. Just find someone else to play with." He chased after me getting ahead of me and began to walk backwards in front of me. "I'm guessing you've spoke to Jack." "Don't know who you're on about." "The guy who bumped into us." "Not a clue." "You're lying." "I'm not." "Are." "Not." "Are." I was getting irritated now. I stopped in my tracks and sighed. "Look. You're cute, got the gift of the gab, and I'm sure girls probably fawn all over you but you're sadly mistaken if you think I'm going to be one of them. It was nice to meet you, but now I'm going to bed, so goodnight, Trey." "I'll get you one day, Alyssa. Goodnight." He smiled as he ran his fingers through his hair. I walked off and headed back to my dorm room and went straight to bed. My first day here and I already had a girl that hated me and a boy not leaving me alone. T R E Y I saw her walk off and knew this was my opportunity to get some time alone with her, so I followed her. "Leaving so soon, Whiskey Queen?" "Yup." She said with a blank tone. "How come? Thought you was a party animal?" I said biting back a smile. "I guess not anymore." "Sugar, wait up." I caught up to her now walking side by side, she suddenly stopped without any hesitation. "My names not Sugar, okay?" She scowled at me. "Well you never told me your name." I shrugged. "And I never will. Goodnight, Trey." She took off again, walking through the corridors like she had a rocket up her ass. "Come on a walk with me." "And why would I do that?" "Because I want to get to know you." "And I'm not interested." "Yet." "At all." "Soon." "Never." "You will." "I won't." "I'll just keep following you then, I'm enjoying the view anyway." I smirked as I kept lowering my eyes to her perfectly toned and round ass. She stopped again and turned to face me, I was going to take this opening and get this girl to let me in, I kept walking towards her until she backed into the wall, resting my hand on the wall beside her beautiful face that I was scanning, taking in every one of her flawless features, her scent of perfume and vanilla taking over my senses made me want to grab her face and kiss her like I've never wanted to kiss anyone before in my life. Instead I opted for finding out why she didn't want to know me like every other girl in this school. "Why you trying to run away from me, sugar? Scared your brothers will see us together?" "Why would I be scared of that? It's not like anything is going on between us." "Unless there was, which could be arranged." I could see her cheeks turn a light pink shade as she blushed at my words, suddenly she didn't seem so confident. "Come, walk with me." I took her by the hand and began to lead her through the corridor when Jack popped out of no where in front of us. "Another one of your conquests I'm gathering, huh, Trey?" He said. This asshole, was my room mate and man he was the ultimate c**k block. We were boys but we had this love, hate relationship, he could be the worst person at times but other times he had my back like no one else. I could see Alyssa scanning him with a blank expression on her face. She was so hard to read which made me want her all the more. "Move along, little one. I have words that need to be had with your biggest mistake." He turned to Alyssa, staring at her so intently. I knew exactly what he thinking, he was interested. "Get lost, Jack." I stared at him, warning him not to try it with her. "Nah, I prefer to ruin your night and get my issues out with you. Two birds, one stone and all the business." "Go on, Alyssa. I'll catch up with ya." I smiled down at her pretty face placing my hand on the small of her back which made my d**k tingle in excitement. Alyssa nodded her head and walked off. "What the f**k!" I snapped. "She's not for you, bro. Plus I got something to tell you, privately." "How the hell do you know she's not for me?!" "She's Theo and Nick's little sister, they'll kill you if they find out you're sniffing round her!" "I ain't sniffing round her." "And what's Jen gonna say about you being with her? You know that crazy b***h is OTT when it comes to you." "f**k Jen, I ain't with her and I'm sick of her thinking she is. She was just to pass time. What do you need to tell me? Make it quick, I'm entertaining." "You're such a douche. Walk with me." We began to walk down the corridor talking in hush tones so no one around could hear us. "Professor is upping his price, he wants to put it $5,000 a month. You got to get a handle on this s**t, Trey." "And why can't you? Why the f**k is it always me?" "Because you're the only fucker in this school who can scare him, sort it, ASAP." I grip Jack by his the scruff of his neck and throw him against the wall. "Don't tell me what the f**k to do, we're in this together so that means none of call the shots, especially not f*****g you! Got that?" I snapped at him. "And secondly this could of waited till later instead of chasing off Alyssa." "You and this b***h man, you don't even know her!" "And I won't get to know her if you keep scaring her away, so leave it out yeah? I'll sort Ainsley, you keep your end of the deal and we're golden." "Fine, dude. But if this goes t**s up because you didn't keep your eye on the ball, that's on you, I won't be going down with you." "Whatever." I watch him storm off in the same direction as Alyssa and prey he doesn't bump into her, he's a real b***h when it comes to arguing with me for some reason. I sigh and lay my fist into the wall out of pure frustration, how dare Professor Ainsley try f**k us up and charge extra, but he's a problem for tomorrow, right now I want to focus on getting into Alyssa's panties. "Thought I saw you out here." Jen's voice screeched through me. "Not now, Jen." She wrapped her arms around my neck and played with the hair at the back of my head, she stunk of her infamous perfume and vodka, the two knocked me sick. "I said not now, Jen." I snapped pulling her arms away from me. "How come, you're normally up for it when we've had a drink." She said trying to seduce me. "Well things change, just go back to the party, I'm not interested tonight." "It's that new money b***h ain't it? Yeah Layla saw you chase after her when she left the party." Her face was like thunder and if that didn't make it noticeable she was pissed off, her tone would of. "You don't even know her, what you got against her?" "She's new money, Trey, she doesn't belong with people like me and you. She doesn't belong her and she certainly doesn't belong with you." "That's what you think. You're forgetting you were new money at one point, you weren't born with a silver spoon up your ass just like I wasn't, you're just a stuck up b***h that pretends to be an OG." "Fine! Go be with that slut bunny! But you and I both know you'll be back." "Trust me, I won't." I walked off in search for Alyssa. She just walked past me like I was a complete stranger. ••• I walked back to my dorm ready to call it a night I received a text. 'VD to everyone - Just in, the queen bee being Jen Ashley was rejected by top boy Trey Lake earlier tonight, word about is he's got his eyes set on new money, pretty girl, Alyssa Parkes. New term has only just started and they're already airing peoples dirty laundry. VD or Vista Daily was a gossip site that texts everyone in the whole school about everyone else's damn business, telling secrets, releasing scandal's. It was both feared and hated. A L Y S S A As I laid on my bed flicking through t****k I got a text from a number not saved in my phone but came up as VD. Who the hell was VD?! 'VD to everyone - Just in, the queen bee being Jen Ashley was rejected by top boy Trey Lake earlier tonight, word about is he's got his eyes set on new money, pretty girl, Alyssa Parkes. The semester has only just begun and I've already got dirt to spread. How's that gonna turn out then? I'll let you know -wink enoji-' What the f**k?! Who the hell was this and why was they texting about me?! How do they even know me, I've been here a day and already this my life is turning into a dramatic chick flick! I wanted no part of it, all I wanted was to be left alone, keep my grades up and graduate in one piece, was that too much to ask for?! I threw my phone down on the bed and rolled over. I needed to get some sleep before my classes begin tomorrow. I woke up the next morning to my phone ringing, I answered it thinking who hates me! "Hello?" I yawned with my eyes still closed. "Lyss?" "What is it, Theo? It's half 8 in the morning! Why do you hate me?" "Did you receive a text last night by any chance?" His tone did not sound happy. I sat up so fast I gave myself head rush. "From?" I tried to act dumb. "VD? Hmm? Did you?" "Oh yeah, who is that by the way? How did they get my number?" "It's Vista Daily. Vista Falls gossip chain, so you gonna act stupid or do I have to ask you outright?" "I have no idea what they're on about." I denied. "So you're not involved with Trey?" "Nope." "Are you sure or are you lying?" "I'm sure?" "Are you asking me or telling me?" "Are you asking me or are you telling me?" "Alyssa!" "Theo!" "Stay away from him, Lyss, he's bad news." "So I've been told." I mumbled. "By who?!" Shit he heard me. That wasn't meant to be heard. "Some guy." "Some guy called Jack?" "How do you know these people, damn." "I know these people because I got s**t going on, I know s**t. Was it Jack?" "Yes, I think so, jesus, is this why you called me at 8 in the morning to interrogate me?" "Yes. I did. You're my little sister and I'm allowed too. Got it?" "I'm a grown ass woman, I don't need my brother to protect me. Now piss off for years, thank you." I hung up the phone and fell back on my pillow. My mind was already boggled and I haven't even woke up properly. I was not ready for the day ahead in this glam hell hole. I dragged myself out of bed and jumped in the shower. I blow dry my hair and got dressed preparing for my first lesson. "You're awake early." Amanda yawned as she sat up from her bed. "Don't get used to it, blame my brother." I widened my eyes at him rolling them a little. "So I wanted to say sorry again last night, y'know about Jen... I told her off and I hope we can still be friends?" "Of course. I wouldn't stop being friends with you because of her." A big smile spread across her face as she leapt out of bed and wrapped her arms around my neck. "I'm so glad you said that because I'd hate for you to hate me because of Jen, all the other girls really like you and want you to hang out with us, and we've got a lot of classes together it'd be so awkward if we wasn't getting along, and I'm just so happy!" She burst out without taking a single breath. "Whoa, relax. Like I said I wouldn't cut you off because of her." "So now we're friends are you going to tell me what's going on between you and Trey?" She smirked at me with a raised eye brow. "Nothing is going on with me and Trey, literally nothing. I told him I'm not interested." I said using a lot of hand gestures. "You did what?!" "I told him I wasn't interested." I shrugged. "Are you crazy? No girl has ever turned Trey Lake down before! Literally, none!" "Except me." I smiled smugly. "He'll come after you until he gets you y'know." "Let him, I'm not usually easily pursued." "And he's not one to give up. This is going to be very interesting to watch play out." I roll my eyes at her and laugh at how caught up she is in nothing. We chat some more while we continue to get ready and head off to our first lecture.
