“Onyx and His Mother.”

(Onyx POV)
“Did you find her?”A women’s voice rang out from behind me.
I knew that voice and I replied annoyed.
“I found her and you touch don’t her!”He snapped turning around to face an elegant tall woman in her mid-fifties.
Her elegant gown gleamed in the sun,silver shining as much as her eyes gleamed in the sun the same color.
Her hair tide-back into a bun,sleek cheekbones and face fair. Her pearl necklace and earrings dangling from her ears.
“What do you mean not touch her son? She’s powerful and we need her to finish off what’s to come in the times that are to come?”The woman asked coldly standing beside him now.
“I smell her on you,why did you not bring her back?”He asks curiously now raising an eyebrow at him.
Onyx grunted and rolled his eyes at the women annoyed now.
“She’s doesn’t even know what she is mother.”Onyx replied staring out into dark forest now as the sunlight gleamed high in the sky.
“Why did that stop you?”His mother asked annoyed at his tone now.
“She’s a simple lowly woman right now until she claims her power. She might the only one who can end the rain on our kingdoms.”His mother said glaring at him as he glared back.
“She’s-she’s my mate mother!”Oynx replied closing his eyes in grimace.
His mother laughed beside him excitedly as she clapped her hands ecstatic now at the new found information.
“That’s great son,we need her to save us and her being your mate makes it ten times better. She’ll surely want to help now. We can teach her who she is,who her mother was.”His mother said smiling from ear to ear.
“There’s a problem,she’s special.”Onyx replied sighing to himself.
“Well we knew she was special son,other people don’t though so what’s wrong. You both could be unstoppable together.”His mother replied eyeing him now with a frown.
“I’m not her only mate,her other mate is her best friend Alpha Xavier Mother.”Onyx replied turning to look at her and her mouth opened a little in shock as she shook her head.
“This is not good son,she will never help us if she knows what happened years ago between you and them. I thought you wiped her memory clean of the incident.”His mother asked trying to calm herself down.
“I did but when I got to Xavier’s room that night as a young boy,he was awake and fought his way through me every step. There’s a reason he’s an Alpha mother. If Avery finds out she’ll never be and I need to find a way to get her to trust me.”He replied stretching his head.
She was beautiful,and his heart aches being away from her.
But he knew he only needed her for one thing and he couldn’t go back on his word to this father’s dying words or the pack his mother re-created with her bare hands.
It was easy for her either,and the years of doing it took a lot of energy out of her.
He knew she was exhausted and he had to do everything to help her and end the war before it even came.
Problem was,in order for the war to end Avery had to use all her powers and lose her wolf and ultimately her life.
She would have to die for everyone to survive.
Onyx felt a pain in his chest and shivered feeling the bond. He didn’t need to mark her or be near her.
Her presence alone was that powerful and her wolf radiated sever power even if she didn’t realize it.
Her scent lingered in his nostrils and he shuddered as Honey suck and vanilla took over calming his thought.
He turned to feel a hand on his shoulder looking at him sadly.
“It’s okay mother I know what I must do.”Onyx replied shaking her off before heading to his room to get dressed.
Only thing Onyx knew he was in a fight to deny his mate and he had to destroy her.
But first he had to get her close enough to him to trust me.
This was going to difficult with mate bond but he would succeed at making sure she suffered so him and his pack would survive the rain.
Onyx sat down on the end of bed his hands twisting in the cream silk sheets.
“I always wanted a mate,someone to care for,someone to hold to same respect and have children with. Why did it have to be you though? You hold all the answers to end what’s coming but you don’t even know.”He said to himself staring at a picture of Avery on his phone from when they both were younger.
“I f*****g hate you Avery Stone and I will make sure you are teared apart limb from limb for what you did.”He continued throwing his phone across the room.
“Xavier watch your f*****g back because even though I’m here to destroy her,she’s still f*****g mine.”He let out breathlessly as he gritted his teeth now feeling anger surge in him.
His body was beginning to shake as he watched Xavier stand in front of protectively from his memories last night.
He knew he was going to have a love-hate relationship with the mate bond in tact like this but he had no choice.
He needed Avery for leverage but everything now reminded him of her,and the scent was still engulfed around him like her wolf sent it directly constantly to him.
“Stupid f*****g wolf.”He grumbled under his breath.
He still couldn’t get over how possessive his own wolf wanted to be over her. He wanted to mark her,claim her and make her his.
He didn’t know how he was gonna keep this under control the whole time.
“Fuck.”He mutter throwing his bed up in the air as it landed against the wall slamming back into it disappearing.
He shut his eyes trying to mediate to calm his wolf as his thoughts faded away into darkness.
