I watched as the man that called himself my husband made love with his childhood sweetheart all because she got pregnant for him. Life was sweet until the sudden need of an heir arose. I can't afford to lose my marriage so I put up with it but now here I am, in the dungeon framed for what I didn't do.They said there's always a light at the end of the tunnel, who knew that my own light at the end of the tunnel would be at the most unexpected place — the Lycans Pack. Now I became the Lycan Queen, he now comes back to beg. "Fraid not ex-husband, I'm no longer your puppet" I spat to his face.

Betrayal In The Moonlight
The smell of perfume hit Paige before she even opened the door. It wasn't hers. Hers was soft and sweet, like jasmine on a quiet spring night. This one was heavy-bold, desperate. And it wrapped around her like a warning. She pushed the bedroom door open slowly, balancing the dinner tray in her hands. What she saw made her stop breathing. There they were, her husband and another woman.Tangled in the same bed they once shared. Her bed. Her chest tightened as the tray slipped from her fingers. The plate crashed to the floor, food scattering across the marble. But the two didn't even flinch. Victoria laughed softly, her head thrown back, her fingers trailing across Bobby's chest. Bobby, the man Paige had loved since she was seventeen just smirked. He didn't even bother to cover himself. "Oh. You're home," he said, like she'd just interrupted him reading a book, not making love to his pregnant mistress. Paige's throat burned, but no words came out. She just stared at him, willing him to flinch, to say something that made sense. Something that could fix the pieces of her broken world. "I told you I needed an heir, Paige," Bobby said, lazily pulling the sheets over Victoria's body. "You failed. She didn't." Victoria's lips curled into a smug smile. "Don't be so dramatic. There's plenty of room in this house for two women." Paige wanted to scream. To slap them both. To burn the whole damn room down. But she just stood there-paralyzed by shock, betrayal, and the bitter sting of silence. -=- Two Years Ago(Flashback) She used to think love was enough. Bobby had found her when she was just a servant in the Shadowfang Pack-an orphan with no last name and no voice. He gave her both. Gave her his name. Gave her a crown. She became Luna. Wife of the Alpha. He bought her a restaurant. Promised her a family. Then, the months passed. Then, the years. And no baby came. It started with little things like him working late, not answering calls, missing dinners. Then he went back to the restaurant. Then he stopped touching her. Then... this. --- Back to now(Present life) "Victoria is my Luna now." The words hit harder than a blow. "But I'm your wife!,your mate," she whispered, trembling. "You marked me..." "Because I was young and stupid," Bobby snapped. "You were... available, quite convenient. You were a step towards the throne,l needed a Luna to become Alpha. You played your part and now it's over." Bobby said flatly. Tears blurred her vision, but she refused to let them fall. "You loved me." "I loved the idea of you. But an Alpha needs strength beside him. You can't even command your own wolf, Paige." She backed away, pain slicing clean through her. "This isn't just betrayal—it's rejection." "Call it whatever you want," Victoria said sweetly. "But this pack deserves a real Luna." "I am real," Paige hissed. Victoria rolled her eyes. "You'll regret this", Paige turned back and faced Bobby. "I doubt it." Bobby didn't stop her as she turned and fled, heart thundering like it might tear itself free. --- She ran to the bathroom, locked the door, and sank to the cold tile floor. The test sat on the counter. Her knees gave out, and she clutched the doorframe. Her vision blurred with tears and she refused to let them fall. She had planned to tell him tonight. Maybe it would've changed things. Maybe it would've reminded him of the love they built-how he saved her from the streets, how she healed under his touch, how he whispered forever into her skin. Two pink lines. Positive. She clutched her stomach. A baby.... His baby. Tears spilled silently down her cheeks. Her wolf howled inside her, wild and wounded. But something else flared up through the grief. Fierce. Protective. "I've got you," she whispered to the life inside her. "Even if he doesn't want us-I do." A laugh broke from her lips, a strange, sad sound. It was too late. He didn't care. Still, she had to try. She waited until dawn to face him again. She rushed to his office the next morning, hoping to cling to her like a second skin. "I'm pregnant," she said, holding out the report. Bobby didn't even look up from his papers. "Congratulations. Handle it yourself." Paige stared at him, stunned. "Are you serious?" He snatched the paper from her, scanned it for two seconds, then crumpled it and tossed it into the trash. "I already have a Luna. And she's already pregnant. Yours came too late." "Too late?" Paige stepped forward. "I'm your wife!" He stood, eyes cold. "You were useful. Now you're just noise." By evening, Victoria's things were being moved into the Alpha wing. Paige stood in the hallway, watching as two pack members carried out her bags like she was being evicted. No ceremony. No apology. A crowd gathered. Whispers. Is that his mate? I thought she was Luna. Guess she couldn't keep him. Humiliation burned through her. Not just from the betrayal-but the speed of it all. It was like she'd been erased. She stepped into the room-her room and found Bobby standing alone, arms crossed, watching the sunset through the glass. "I loved you," she said. He didn't turn. "Then you were a fool." Her voice lowered. "I hope when you look at her, you remember I gave you everything. Even now, I carry a piece of you." "Don't make this dramatic." She stepped closer. "You ruined me." He turned, finally, face unreadable. Then he leaned in, his breath brushing her ear. "You were nothing but a placeholder, Paige," he said softly. "Learn your place." And with that, he left. ー Days passed, then weeks. Paige was nothing but a ghost in the house. Bobby barely looked at her. Victoria gave her chores like she was a maid. The woman even moved into her bedroom. Paige was sent to the guest room without a word. She lived in silence. Grief. Anger. But still, she hoped-for the baby's sake. For some shred of the man she once loved to return.
