Chapter 5 - Pleasure Underneath

I can't find him. Sumuko na lang din ako dahil nalibot ko na yata ang isla ay hindi ko pa rin siya nakikita. But I made sure to check his office for the last time to see if he's back there even though I have searched it already. Kaya bumalik ako sa bar dahil naroon din ang kaniyang opisina. Nakita ko sina Rose doon na ngayon ay hindi na abala bago pa ako umakyat.

Malalim akong bumuntong hininga. I'm hoping he's here. I step forward but then, stopped.

Bakit ko nga pala siya hinahanap? C'mon, Zuri... Let go of that little crush you have for him.

Clearly, I don't have a chance with him. I always pretend that his paninirit meant nothing. Nagbibiro lang siya, like how he told me he'd wait until I'm ready to commit. Para kaming langit at lupa na hindi dapat magtagpo. Nathaniel is too comfortable with me and I felt the same, too. But I guess that feeling of security grew because we have established a strong bond, a friendship for a short period of time which I can't afford to lose.

Isa pa, crush lang naman. A happy crush... But seeing him leave would break my heart.

Gusto ko lang naman din pormal na magpaalam dahil huling araw na niya bilang boss ko. He will leave us sooner and I don't know when he's going to come back. May magiging bagong amo ako, si Flynn. Hindi ko alam kung anong klase siyang tao kaya kinakabahan ako.

I'm hoping he would be like Nathaniel, that he'd act and talk like him so each of us can be all friends with boundaries, of course.

Natigilan ako sa naisip. Shaking my head, I mentally dismiss the thought out of my mind.

Para ano? Kapag pareho sila ng ugali, magkakagusto rin ba ako kay Flynn? Muli akong umiling.

Hindi yata tama ang iniisip ko. I felt like I'm having this daddy issues because first, they are on their late twenties. Flynn is a father, and Nathaniel, he's fit to become a sugar daddy with his looks and money, aside from the fact that he's single. Just perfect.

Ganoon ba ang gusto ko? Ang matatandang lalaki?

God, Zuri! You're still a teen! Bakit ko ba iyon iniisip?!

Tinampal ko ang noo at iwinaksi ang naiisip. Nag-abala akong kumatok ng tatlong beses sa pinto at nang walang sumagot, maingat ko itong binuksan na labis kong pinagsisihan. Pakiramdam ko ay nanlamig ako sa nakita.

I think a cold water was splashed through me when I saw the man sitting on the swivel chair, eyes closed and groaning lightly, cussing as he held the b***h's hair to push her more to his groin. Nakarinig pa ako ng tunog na parang nasusuka sa ilalim ng lamesa, at parang gusto ko na rin sumuka sa pandidiri.

I'm not dumb.

Kahit may nakaharang ay alam ko ang kababalaghan na nangyayari. The blonde hair was showing, the veins on his arms were visible as he wrap her hair tightly on his hand, even the sounds of the girl's gagging, and how he moved his hips to thrust into her were enough for me to tell what's happening under that table.

I'm not witnessing a blow job, right? A live one.

"P utangina..." the man groan deeply. "Yes, b itch. Suck me... Isubo mo, isagad mo, p uta ka."

Gusto kong tumakbo at umiyak! Pero animo'y nabato ang paa ko sa sahig at hindi ako makakilos. I'm sure my eyes were about to bawl out! Paulit-ulit kong sinabihan ang sarili ko na umalis. Umatras ako. But when I'm about to leave, his eyes opened and it flew right in my direction.

Katulad ko, gulat din siyang napatingin sa akin. Mabilis siyang nag-ayos at pinaalis ang babae mula sa ilalim. I recognized the girl, an escort but my attention were fixed on him. Nasa isip ko na agad ang humingi ng tawad dahil sa gambala. Fear crept inside me when his eyes changed and it was now serious. Very serious.

"I'm... I'm so sorry," I apologized, gazing down at the floor. "I was just trying to look for Nathaniel. I mean, sir Nil! Akala ko narito siya kaya napadpad ako rito. I'm so sorry for interrupting you but I did knock first before I entered."

"Leave..." his voice was dark.

Walang atubili akong tumalikod pero muli siyang nagsalita.

"Not you. Keri, leave..." he uttered.

"Pero hindi pa tayo tapos! You haven't c*m yet!"

I didn't hesitate to run away from that room. Hindi ko kinaya ang kahalayan na nasaksihan ko! And that man... That was the impression he gave me upon seeing him in that state.

Hindi man lang ginawa sa mas pribadong lugar! The fact that it was Nathaniel's office and he sat on the exact chair where Flynn received a blow job makes me want to throw up! Dinumihan nila ang upuan na iyon! They didn't even lock the door for Pete's sake.

Ganoon ba sila kasabik sa tawag ng laman at pati iyon ay nakalimutan? That was basic!

"Oh, Zuri. Pawis na pawis ka, ako'y nag-alala at baka ikaw ay mahulog sa hagdan kakaripas mo ng takbo. Ano ba nangyari?" si Rose iyon nang makababa ako.

"Wala. Nagbabawas lang ako ng calories," sambit ko.

Bahagya siyang tumawa roon. "Parang kakaakyat mo lang tapos bumaba ka na. Sir Nil wasn't there?"

He wasn't there. Flynn was there and Rose who's known to be fantasizing about him doesn't know that his ultimate crush was receiving pleasure from the girl she hated most.

Tumungo ako sa likod ng bar counter at naghalo roon ng alak. It's past lunch and I just wanted to forget what I've witnessed upstair. It was my first time! And second time seeing him and that was what I saw. Ang balahura!

"Hindi... Hindi ko alam kung nasaan nga siya."

"Baka abala sa mga babae niya? The boss doesn't end a day without f ucking a girl or two. Ganoon na 'ata sila kahayok sa babae. Kailangan laging nakasalpak ang t iti nila sa kuweba."

"Ang bastos ng bibig mo," untag ko at naghalo pa bago inilagay sa baso.

"Ey, hindi ka na nasanay..." it was Amelie who joined.

Binigay ko sa kanila ang baso. But when Rose's eyes went upstair, she almost throw the glass out there. Hula ko'y nagising ang galit niya nang makita si Keri sa taas, mukha itong iritado, bahagya pang padabog kung bumaba ng hagdan bitbit ang high heels nito.

Now I wonder what happened. Parang sarap na sarap sila kanina nang makita ko. At bakit hindi nila alam na narito si Flynn? 'Di ba nila nakita na umakyat ito? Or maybe he was there already before us but Amelie said he was out there swimming in the sea earlier.

Nakasunod ang tingin namin sa kaniya.

"Narito ka pala, Keri. Bagay na bagay talaga sa 'yo ang pangalan mo," she said hostility.

"Wala akong time para sa pagiging war freak mo, Rose. Tigilan mo ako," Keri replied.

Ameli sighed deeply, rolling her eyes as she drank the alcohol once.

"'Eto na naman sila... Ayaw pa mag-move forward."

I shrugged. "Hayaan mo, magsasawa rin mga 'yan."

"Si Sir Nathaniel na naman ang kinakalantari mong makati ka! Hindi ka pa nakuntento na inagaw mo ang jowa ko't inahas mo! Tapos ngayon ang boss naman namin ang target mo."

I was nervous when a smirk made its way to Keri's face. Nang-aasar iyon, at alam kong sa oras na sabihin niyang si Flynn ang kinalantari niya sa taas ay tiyak na magwawala si Rose nang malala.

"Hindi ang boss mo ang target ko. It was the friend," Keri never wanted to lose.

"Anong friend?! Huwag ka ngang malandi! Buti hindi ka pa nagkakasakit kakabuka mo sa iba't ibang lalaki araw-araw!"

I know how Rose hated her because of their past but sometimes, I wanted to tape her mouth for throwing such words. Si Keri, ni hindi ko alam kung bakit niya ginagawa ito. We don't know her story so we must be vigilant with our words.

Hindi namin alam kung paano ito nakakaapekto sa kaniya. She might act cool but we don't know what's happening inside her whenever she's s lut shamed.

"Hey, Rose. Shut up, just forget about that girl. Wala ka naman makukuha," si Amelie na hinawakan siya sa braso.

"She's right," I joined. "Huwag ka na makipagdiskusyon sa kaniya. You're just wasting your time."

Lumipad ang tingin sa akin ni Keri. Nanumbalik ang irita niyang ekspresiyon. I looked away, avoiding her because I know what was that for.

Naabala ko sila kanina. They didn't probably continue doing it when I left the scene. Nawalan siguro ng gana? And Flynn shoo-ed her away so I assumed they didn't fully do the deed, reason why she was annoyed.

She prolly felt like she have lost a potential client. Sabagay, it was Flynn Alas. A big catch, indeed.

Pikutin mo lang, aahon ka na agad sa hirap. Maya maya pa ay umalis na rin siya. While we were there listening to Rose's rant about how she hated her for stealing her ex. Mabilis rin lumipas ang oras at sa wakas, natagpuan ko si Sir Nil sa harap ng aking cabin!

"I was looking for you, Nathaniel! Dahil doon, nakasaksi pa ako ng live show sa opisina mo! Flynn was there doing things I have never expected to see!"

I complained when I finally get in touch with him an hour before the party. Nakabihis na siya samantalang ako, hindi pa rin maka-move on sa nakita.

"I'm so sorry, Zuri... That's why I'm here to apologize in behalf of my friend. Alam kong bastos talaga ang nakita mo but that's just how it would be once you start working for him."

I rolled my eyes in irritation. "Ah, so sinabi ba niyang pumunta ka rito para mag-sorry? Then, tell him to lock the door when he plan to do it again next time!"

I shouldn't even make it a big deal. Hindi lang ako sanay sa nakita. Yes, Nathaniel is someone who f uck and go but he's discreet when it comes to his activity. Ni minsan ay hindi ko pa siya nakita sa parehong tagpo. He was really careful unlike his friend!

Exhibitionist pa nga yata iyon! They’d know that anytime, someone would knock and enter the room yet they didn’t even think of securing it.

Nairita ako kay Nathaniel. Alam kong medyo hindi maganda ang asal ko pero may karapatan akong magreklamo! For sure, hindi ko makakalimutan ang imahe na iyon at dadalhin ko hanggang sa aking pagtulog.

“He didn’t tell me to do this. Sadyang naikwento niya lang and knowing you, I know you weren’t used in seeing that.”

Nakita ko si Rey ‘di kalayuan sa amin. We’re outside my cabin, talking. Pipili na nga sana ako ng damit na susuotin para mamaya pero narito nga si Nathaniel.

“I’m just hoping not to see him or anyone in that state again,” I looked at him firmly.

“I promise you that,” he smiled. “Well, he will not do that again, not on your watch. So, be assured that starting from now, everything will be wholesome around him.”

“Dapat lang...” Pinaningkitan ko siya ng mga mata. “I’m maybe in my legal age now but I’m still a teen. Please remind him that.”

He nodded. “Yeah, yeah... I will remind him that everyday, Zuri. Worry not.”

Tumango ako at bahagyang ngumiti.

“But seriously, I hope you’d enjoy your despedida later, Sir Nathaniel. Even though it would be your last night here but still, enjoy.”

“Will do, and thank you for organizing it for me.”

Ngumiti ako sa kaniya. “As always, you are welcome and thanks, too, for accepting me here, giving me job opportunity, you are actually my life saver.”

Ngumisi siya at ginulo ang buhok ko saka namulsa. Napanguso ako at inayos iyon.

“Flynn will be there. You sure you want to see that pervert?”

“Yeah, hindi naman ako ang nahuli kanina kaya bakit ako ang hindi magpapakita?”

Isa pa, hindi ko rin naman iyon iuungkat. That was earlier and it should be bury six feet under the ground. Iyon nga lang, baka ako itong hindi makalimot.

“Sabagay... Siya nga dapat ang mahiya, ‘di ba? I can only imagine your reaction.”

Napatango ako. “Makapal naman siguro ang apog ng kaibigan mo kaya for sure, naroon iyon mamaya.”

Nagpaalam na rin kami. My eyes went to Rey who was standing just meters away from us. Mabilis ang pag-iwas ko ng tingin at pumasok na sa cabin nang makalayo si Nathaniel.

I don’t want to talk to him for the meantime. For sure, igigiya na naman niya ako na mag-resign para lumipat sa pinagttrabahuan niya.
