It is Friday again, I am very happy and at the same time sad. I am happy because my best friends Bunny, April and Jenny are here to celebrate my tenth birthday and sad because my mom as usual won't be here to celebrate me but never forget to send me gifts. We sat at the dinning table where a grand meal has been set for us by Daisy and Nanny Junkie. There were seafood, noodles,rice, soup and variety of sweet. I looked at my mom's door as we dig in our food and make small talks. "Hey do you know that there is a new fairy tale movie show this month" Bunny informed us "Really, when" Jenny asked "Next Saturday I think" Bunny spoke as if boasting about knowing that before any of us. " O M G! then we have to go and watch it" April squealed " Yeah another fairy tale movie" I squealed out of excitement Just then, I saw my mom coming down from her room probably going to one of her business party. I run to her hugging her tight "Mum"I called "KC, don't spoil my dress" she said tearing us apart " I am getting late" she added " But mum I need to tell you something" "Not now KC later" she said calling out Junkie "What were you doing, see what she needs." she said and left "But I just want to talk to you" I whispered to myself. I feel hurt and started sobbing. Why can't my mom be like my friends moms, they always have time for them no matter how busy they are.
