On the way back to his castle, Marcus instructs his driver to take a different route before going home. He is on the way to Victor's place. Like Mikael, Victor also has an academy where he trains hunters. It is situated quite a far way away from Mikael's one and is not situated in the Vampire kingdom as Victor doesn't like the old ways and likes to use modern technology, unlike Mikael. Victor and Mikael were trained together by the same hunter, and Victor just finished behind Mikael when they have trained long ago. Victor and Mikael are not allies in any way as Victor was always jealous of Mikael since the time they were young, and Mikael also never liked Victor. Victor is also still mad at Mikael after Mikael killed his own brother after discovering that he helped Victor
