Marcus king of the Vampires saw a beautiful young girl at the village market. Obsessed with her he orders his guards to bring her to his private chambers. Melissa the young girl being very scared at first fell for Marcus's charm and spend the night with him with him not knowing she is a werewolf. To her surprise she finds out she is pregnant with the married King's child. Being an original vampire Marcus is furious when he finds out knowing his whole legacy with the vampires is at stake. Knowing he cannot send a vampire assassin after the young wolf he hires a Hunter assassin to track her down and kill her with the child inside her.

Melissa's POV

"Take her away from me. I do not want to touch that thing," I say. I could see the shock on Emilia's face. Emilia loved me like her own daughter as I was helping where I could.

"It is your, baby, Melissa," Emilia says softly to me.

"I do not care. She is part of the monster, and I want nothing to do with her," I say and turn my back on the baby girl who starts crying. Gabriel walks in, and without a word, he takes the baby, looks at me with disgust on his face, and walks out. I start crying as I like Gabriel, and I can not help that I do not like what came out of me. I hate her.

"Her name will be, Hailey and I will take her as my daughter and raise her as my own," I hear Gabriel tell Emilia. I feel a little guilty, but I can not help the way I feel.

"Give her a chance. She will learn to love her daughter. She is not a bad person, and I love Melissa as my own. She fits in and brings her part to the school. She helps to clean, and she even helps to cook. The children love her, and I am sure that she will love her once she gets to know her daughter. Melissa loves children. She will not abandon her daughter," I hear Emilia pleading for me with Gabriel.

"I do not care. Melissa's problems are not mine. Hailey is my blood, and no one will harm her," Gabriel says as he walks off with the baby. I cry as I can see his strong, tall body walks away from me. He hates me for not wanting to be the mother of a monster. I hate that girl even more as she took the only man I could ever love away from me. One day I will make her pay for all the things she put me through. I cry myself to sleep as I dream about Gabriel, the man I love walking away from me with that child in his arms.

Prologue
Melissa's POV. I am running for my life. You may wonder why? It is all because the one who got me pregnant now wants the child inside me and me dead. I have been hiding in this cave for about a week now. I feel dirty and need a bath, but I am too scared. I can not go out as I know the father of my child has hired hunters. It all started about two months ago. I was an in at the local market. I live in the old Vampire Kingdom, where the is not much progress, and we live basically like in the eighteen hundreds. When he saw me, he sends his guards to capture me and bring me to his castle. He is the King of Vampires, Marcus, he is attractive, but he is married. As far as I know, he has no children. He wants the child dead as he sees the child inside me as a threat not only to him but to the whole kingdom. He did not know I was a werewolf at the time we conceived the child. I try my best to hide the fact from him and move away to a town about twenty miles away. One of his officers saw me, and I was already showing. I knew he would put two and two together as I was a virgin when I was with him. He will know I am a werewolf as I was already showing. I got a note one night telling me to flee as the King wants the baby and me dead. I grabbed a few pieces of clothing and started to run. I had no one I could go to as my parents were killed a long time ago by vampires, and the aunt I was staying at told me to leave as she does not want to get on the wrong side of the king. That is how I ended up in this cave, waiting for the hunter to come. I have fled for so long, and I am tired, hungry, and lonely. I start crying as I'm not too fond of the thing I am carrying in my stomach. It is the reason I can not live my everyday life in the kingdom anymore. I have to get out of here, and if the hunter is waiting for me outside, so be it. Then I will die, and will this monster growing inside me. As I am about to walk out of the cave, an arm grabs me, and a hand goes over my mouth. The creature drags me back into the cave and holds me until I stop shivering. "I will not hurt you, but stay quiet. I do not know who has followed you or even me," A voice says. I recognize the voice as the voice of Gabriel, the King's brother.  "I am going to take my hand away, so do not scream. I am here to help you. You are carrying my niece or nephew, and I want no harm coming to it. Nod if you understand," Gabriel says. I nod. He lets go of me and takes his hand away from my mouth slowly. "Why would you want to save a hybrid? You know it can ruin the world as we know it?" I ask. "Only if we allow the child to become a monster, and it will not happen on my watch," Gabriel says. Gabriel is always in trouble with Marcus as he always rebels against Marcus, and Marcus sees Gabriel as a threat to his throne. They do not see eye to eye. I know Gabriel will always go against Marcus' wishes, and therefore I think I can trust him. I am still not hundred percent sure I can trust him with my life, but I have no choice as there is no one else I can run to for help. I mean, he can capture me and take me to Marcus to win his favor back. "Let's go. I will take you and the child to a safe place," Gabriel says. "I don't want this child. I never wanted it as it is part of the monster you call your brother," I say. "I know you may feel that way now, but wait until you hold your child in your arms," Gabriel says. I look at him as I am not planning to hold this thing in my arms, and he can take it and do with it as he wishes. All I want is to live somewhere in peace and start my life again, but I will not tell him this now, and I know he cannot compel me as I am a wolf. We leave the cave, and I hear a voice in the bushes getting closer to us. "Someone is coming," I tell Gabriel. He picks me up and runs with me using his vampire speed, and when we are far enough away from whoever was coming, Gabriel puts me down and looks at me. "It is Mikael, the world's best hunter. I knew my brother would hire him as he is the best, and not even I can fight him at this stage. Luckily I know these parts of the world better than he does. So let's go. We do not have much time to get to the place of safety. I want to get you and the baby safe," Gabriel says. We run for a day and a half and only stop to eat and drink water. Soon I see a big building in front of us. At the gate, a witch is waiting for us. "Gabriel, I have been waiting for you and the young wolf. Come on in, let's get you cleaned up and fed," The witch says. "Thank you, Emilia. I am glad you got the message I send you. Unfortunately, I had to wait to get out of the Kingdom before I could message you, but here we are," Gabriel says. Emilia smiles at me and looks at my stomach. "Do not fear, little one, you are safe here with us," Emilia says to me, and I do not know if she is talking to me or the thing in my stomach. "This is a school for unique creatures. Here are werewolves, vampires, and witches. A special spell protects the school, and no one can locate you here as long as you do not leave the school grounds. Now follow me, and I will show you your room and give you some clothes," Emilia says, and I follow her. The months go by fast, and one morning I feel the pains coming. Emilia and her witches help me give birth, and when they want me to hold the little girl, I refuse. "Take her away from me. I do not want to touch that thing," I say. I could see the shock on Emelia's face. I cry myself to sleep as I dream about Gabriel, the man I love walking away from me with that child in his arms. Marcus's POV I am waiting for Mikael to come back with good news. It has been months, and he never let me down before. Then, at last, he arrives and comes to my office right away. "So where are the head of the she-wolf and the body of the baby?" I ask. "The she-wolf escaped, and I could not trace her. I have looked everywhere, your brother Gabriel has helped her escape, and he is hiding her and the child somewhere," Mikael says. "That is not what I want to hear! I want that thing dead. Do you know how strong it will become when it become eighteen? That thing she is carrying will be able to beat me and even kill me. So it would be best if you got it before it turns eighteen," I say as I am terrified of what it might become. I have never seen a hybrid before, but I can only imagine how strong a wolf and vampire hybrid will be. How will you kill it? "I will get it before it becomes too strong," Mikael says, and I believe him as he never let me down before. Unlike that bloody brother of mine. Gabriel has always been a pain in my ass, and I wish I had killed him when I had the chance. He is a rebel, and he even rebelled against our parents when they were still alive. We are the original vampire family. My other siblings stay under my thumb. But Gabriel I can not control since I have killed our parents. I am the oldest, and therefore I will automatically rule. Gabriel will have to learn that I am the oldest and the strongest. "Mikael, before you go, I want the she-wolf, Gabriel's, and that thing's head on a plate," I say. Mikael laughs as he is happy. He never liked Gabriel as Gabriel always mocked him and often cost him his reward money on a bounty by saving the creatures he was hunting or killing them himself and collecting the reward before Mikael could. I know about the feud between Mikael and Gabriel, and I know Mikael will love to kill Gabriel. "I would love to bring you all three of their heads on a plate. Can I have a vial of your blood. It will be easier if I can use your blood to track down Gabriel or the child," Mikael says. I know what he means. He uses the vampire's spies to track down someone with my blood. By injecting them with my blood, they will feel the connection to my brother or that child the moment they see them. "Oh, Gabriel, why did you have to intervene in my business again. I would have liked to kill you myself, but I know we are equal in power, and you may get lucky and kill me first. So I will use this hunter to kill for me. That way, I stay alive, and you die," I think to myself as I give Mikael a vial of my blood.
