Early the next morning, Marcus gets up and gets his preparations ready for the next day. He gets a white oak stake, the only weapon known to kill an original vampire, and puts it in his briefcase along with a silver dagger as he will need both weapons to kill a hybrid. He will first have to kill her vampire side by using the white oak stake. Then after that, he will have to use the silver dagger to kill her wolf as she will immediately die after that. There are only two white oak stakes in existence that are known about. Marcus has one, and Mikael has the other one. Marcus is aware of the white oak stake Mikael possesses, and for that reason, he has always kept Mikael as a close ally and always made sure to be alert around Mikael as Mikael has the ability to end him.
