"Well, today is the day of questioning. I better drink one of the ancient potions the dark witches gave Mikael. The effect to counter the truth serum usually lasts about eight hours, and I'm sure Ms. Emilia and Gabriel will question me before it wears off. Luckily Gabriel can't compel me as I'm a wolf, and not even an original vampire can compel a werewolf. That is why he wants to use the witches' truth serum on me.
