Third-person POV
Early the following day, Mikael gets up and starts to prepare for his journey back to the Vampire kingdom to meet with Marcus over what happened at the school with Victor. Mikael is furious that Marcus went behind his back and hired Victor. He feels betrayed by Marcus and wants to confront him about it. Marcus leaves a few of his minions behind to keep an eye on the school and the area so that if something happens, he will immediately be notified by them. Mikael gets into a car he bought in town and leaves for the Vampire kingdom.
