The Forbidden Desire

Chapter Three

JAMES POV

“James, James” I heard my name everywhere. I couldn't even rest for at least one second. I was called to one point and was directed to the other. It was really challenging to just sit my ass at one point and rest my head. My father wanted it so luxurious and invited his business partner. I had to lock myself inside the room to avoid all sorts of walking and roaming about. It was his wedding with his new wife so needed something big to welcome them in. I heard his wife also had a daughter, but really I haven't met any of them, so I waited patiently for them to arrive so we could begin the ceremony as my father wanted. I knew my hiding place wasn't really safe enough for me to stay away from their call. Suddenly, I heard a knock on my door.

“Who the hell is there? I can't come out okay. I am exhausted and I can't really stress myself out just because my father is marrying a new wife. Not only that, but I would love it, if you all could just leave me alone at least for thirty minutes and not ask for too much okay” I said.

“No, not at all okay I am not here to stress you or call you out please if you can at least open the door for me, you wouldn't regret it” the voice.

“Ahhh, how wouldn't I regret it? I would rather not open this door. Okay, I can't open the door. I am tired, and I don't have any time for anything, especially discussion, "I said.

“I won't take much of your time, okay, just please open the door for me, I am begging” the voice said. I felt pity for her because the voice sounded like a female one, so I opened the door for her. I was really surprised to see the stranger because she covered her face with a scarf and immediately when she entered she closed the door. I found her suspicious until she uncovered her face with the scarf it was then I found out it was my mother.

“What, mom ahh what are you doing here” I sounded surprised.

“My son I sneaked to come see you okay, I heard that your father was getting married to another woman, so I thought of coming to see you with this opportunity” she said.

“Wow, you know it's really dangerous if you were caught. Father hasn't still forgiven you for what you did. If you were caught, how would you escape him?” I asked.

“I don't know I just had courage and came here okay I would leave now okay I love you” she said and kissed me on my forehead and was about living, but I drew her back.

“Mom, you can't just come and leave like that, tell me, have you eaten?” I asked. She looked so hungry and with the expression on her face anyone can figure out that she hasn't eaten anything.

“Ahh, I can see it in your eyes that you are starving just wait for me inside here I would go get you something to eat” I said and left. Immediately I left the room. I locked it from the front and went to the kitchen to get something for her. After I went to the kitchen and was about to leave I encountered my father and I really knew that it wouldn't be so easy for me to escape his questions.

“Son, where are you taking this to, don't tell me you want to eat alone. Wow, but I told you that we would be having a meal with my new wife and her daughter and I think that they would be here soon so why” he said.

“Not at all Dad, you know I wanted to go give it to someone you know I invited my friends over so he called on phone that he would be hungry, and I know him too well, he eats a lot of food you know” I said.

“But we prepared something for all the guests here. I think that would be more than enough for your friend. I don't think you're keeping this one aside is necessarily okay,” he said.

“Father, like I said before he loves eating like I meant he can finish a load of meal at once so I needed him to be satisfied because he is a good friend of mine so you don't have anything to worry about okay just go have some rest and prepare immediately I would also go to mine you know that my stepmom would be here soon okay I advise you go immediately.

“Okay If you say, so I would be going to prepare, okay call me Drake, it is unclear to me why they are still delaying, is there any traffic?” He asked.

“I don't think so in a few minutes they will arrive,” I said. I waited for him patiently to go directly to his room, so I rushed and went to my room.

“Wow, Mom I nearly got caught by my father, but I outsmarted him. You can eat gently. I would escort you when you are done. Okay, you can have all the time to eat your meal. I also have to go prepare. I think My stepmom will be here In few seconds” I said.

“Wow, you know to call her stepmom someone you haven't been introduced to, you call her stepmom” she said.

“Is there any problem with it? I can't just continue living in agony of what you did, we both know very well that what you did was really, really wrong” I said.

“And is that enough” she was about completing her statement before I interrupted her.

“Just focus on the meal, okay you know it's hot so be careful” I said. I heard a knock on my door. I really forgot to close the door and I think Drake, my personal assistant, was here to inform me that it was about time to go. I knew he saw my mom, so I was anxi
