Prologue
Alexia(Ally, Female Day)
It had been 6 years since she left home when a knock on the door startled her, she opened the door not expecting to see her brother Leo at the door. He looked like he’d been crying something she’d never seen him after age 3. “Wh-what's going on? What happened? Why were you crying?” she asks only to be pulled into a tight hug.
His words don't come out as he hugs her crying into her neck. He didn't know how to explain that she---he---they? Could come home again. He was 10 when their parents kicked Alex out and he didn't know how to explain to his sibling that their parents were dead.
“Lele, what happened? Why are you here alone? What's wrong?!” she asked again.
“I-its m-mom and d-dad” he stutters instantly. She was overprotective as if she’d never left.
“If they hurt you I swear to whatever God you believe in I will slaughter them” her words come out a snarl, she could deal with them kicking her out at 13 but she would not put up with her baby brother being hurt. Her words made him cry harder “Th-they’re dead......It was a business deal gone wrong and--------they kidnapped mom, when dad went to pay the ransom they killed them both and........they left their heads on our doorstep.....I-I told them it needed to stop a-and they d-didn't listen to me” he whimpers. Ally’s jaw dropped “Oh god.....Lele I’m so sorry” he holds him close rocking him back and forth. “I know how much you’ve always hated the business but sometimes backing out of deals gets messier than going through with them” she explains while scooping him up and holding him close. “Come on let's go get some of my stuff and I’ll go home with you okay?” she asks to which he nods. Before she was kicked out they’d been inseparable being the youngest of the 5 siblings they bonded and the hardest part of leaving was abandoning her baby brother.
After setting him on the bed she pulls out a large suitcase and stuffs it with everything she’d need for a month's trip at least. She grabs what looks like a diaper bag from under her bed opening it to make sure all her favorite comfort items were there before putting it in the suitcase. After all the clothes were packed away in the suitcase she pulled out a smaller one and put her favorite blanket and stuffies in it as well as coloring books, crayons, pencils and markers.
“How did you get here?” she asked her brother who was still crying though now he was clutching the big teddy bear he’d gotten her for her 12th birthday. “I-----I took the bus....it was....crowded” he mumbles. She nods “The bus is always crowded Lele, lucky for us I have a car so we don't have to ride the bus back okay?” She knew her little brother had issues with people, especially with the profession their family was in and how many nasty people hated them for it.
After loading the car they got in and she set off on the 5 hour drive back to the family house, little did she know she’d never be coming back to her tiny little apartment.
