"I've already apologized, what more do you want?" Natalie raised her voice.
"I'll let it slide this time, but I hope you won't do it again."
Apology? I quickly picked up on the key word, suddenly recalling Lila and others' apologies. Could it really be... Sidney's doing? Did he threaten Natalie to make Lila apologize to me obediently?
Thinking of this possibility, my heart fluttered slightly, and a sweet feeling bubbled up inside me.
"Who do you think you are to treat me like this? Sidney, I've met that illegitimate son, you know? He's quite handsome, and his personality is gentler than yours. Maybe being with him would be much more interesting than being with you."
