The Great Escape
Prelude: A mother flees her home world with her two sons seeking asylum on another planet some 300 million years ago. Advanced genetic engineering changes the evolution of what is called mankind on earth forever and rips their creator's small family apart. ___________________________________________ Episode 1 A beam of white light is tearing through the darkness of a black and red sky. Buildings exploding as the vibrations from the earth send shock waves across the lands. “Mother where is father” a small boy gripping on to a dress woven in fabric that could only be described as fashioned from the light of the gods, asks his mother. “Your father is lost Inke. He has forsaken our oath and has gone mad with greed and power. We must leave this place before it is to late. Grab your brother while I generate from the light that is left within this forsaken planet, we must find sanctuary in the stars, for a great war is coming. Your father has broken the rules of the universe and he will not stop hunting us for within us we carry the secrets of it. Hurry my child!” Inke goes towards an orb the reaches inside, pulling forth a child, his brother Inell. He wraps a cloth around his shoulder and cradles the small child inside. “Mother where will we go?” Inke says with tears falling from his eyes. “We will follow the vibrations and light of the universe to transport us to a place not known to our kind. Far away from the destruction. So far away that it will take our enemies millennia to find us Inke, so that when they do, we will be more capable and ready to defend the light that is with in us. We are not safe here and as the Goddess mother of all knowledge and life I must get you and your brother to safety until you to are old enough to carry out what your father was not able to do. Do not worry my child this path we take now will lead us to the light, just as long as we are together, we will prevail for I am Sophia.” Sophia takes Inke in her arms and whispers softly “close your eyes now we must go, do not open them until you feel your feet and air in your lungs”. With a small kiss she cradles his body into hers and vanishes as a burst of light flashes in the darkness that enveloped them just seconds before. The sky begins to fall as the screams of a mad man reaches across the valley. “NO!” “My divine has forsaken me.” He crumbles to the floor the light that once pierced the skies retreats into the earth from which it came. A dark energy consumes the mad man and rage flies out from his fingertips toppling the building around him. Salin punches his fists into the earth, reaching to pull the light out but with no prevail. He sits in place, in silence as he watches his world burn. The air is thick as his lungs grip for air. What has he done, whispers in the head ask him. He turns as footstep near him. “Why do you not stand all mighty Salin?Where is your divine and your seeds of life?” Salin turns only but his head “They are gone.” “Gone?” the man approaches Salin with the speed of light with his hand tightly wrapped around his neck. “GONE!” “What have you done with her?” “I lost the light, consumed by my dark passenger…I…I lost her. And now all is lost. She has forsaken me forsaken us all!” “You were given everything, Salin. Everything! You went against her wishes; you were too greedy, and you would not share her. Her wisdom, her strength, her beauty! Then you waged war and used her against all of us, and all the Universes. WHY!” Salin stared into the eyes of his once neighbor and friend and said, “Because she was MINE!” As the words escaped his mouth darkness shot out along with them and pierced the cavities of Josus. Josus body began to disintegrate as Salin stared into his eye, his windows to his soul, and just as the light faded out, he snatched it. “She should not have forsaken me! She should not have stollen our sons! I will find her. I will go from planet to planet until she is once mine again. War is coming! WAR IS COMING!”
