Getting ready before she walked Chris to the bus was the wrong thing to do when you were going to wear black pants. Already she was covered in white hair from Lucy rubbing up against her as they got ready this morning. She was going to have to come back in and do her best to get the hair off before leaving.
The bus pulled up and Chris jumped up from the porch and ran for the end of the driveway. She was ecstatic that it came this close and she didn’t have to take him to a bus stop because once they were more comfortable here, she could let him wait on the bus on his own.
