1. The End for the Beginning
It was a cheerful sunny day, I was walking through the flower garden with my boyfriend. He seemed nervous, not cheeky or flirty as usual. I couldn't help but notice all his behavior. I stopped my tracks in front of him, looked up at him and gave him a worried look. "Baby? Is everything okay?" He blinked and was quite taken aback by my question, his eyes darted avoiding eye contact with me making me frown in confusion. "Baby?" I cupped his jaw, forced him look down at me and locked our gaze. His face was slightly flushed but still looked nervous. "Answer me.. is everything okay? or did I make a mistake? you seem.. off today.." He cleared his throat softly and cupped my hand that was cupping his jaw, I could feel his thumb gently stroking the back of my hand. "Love.." I nodded gently waiting for him to say what he wanted to talk about. "Yes Baby? I'm all my ears. It's ridiculous seeing you all flustered and flushed. Where my mischievous boyfriend, Hans?" I asked grumpily, my lips pouting, making him giggle then gently pinch my pout. "I'm still your cheeky Hans, dummy! I just.. feel a bit nervous because of what i wanna to talk about.." I take a deep breath, my eyes scanning his face with affection. "Then tell me!" He suddenly wrapped his arms around me, pulling me closer to his chest. I always melt when his sudden warm embrace like this. "I love you, a lot.." I looked up at him again and chuckled, my arms returning his embrace and resting my cheek on his chest. "I know and I love you more.." He gently cupped my cheek, making me look up at him again. His eyes looked at me with tenderness and sincerity beyond anything, making my heart skip a beat. "I know darling.. so.. are you willing to marry me?" I widened my eyes in disbelief, it felt like my heart and lungs stopped working for a few seconds. "Hans..?" he smiled sweetly, a smile I hadn't seen in all the years we'd been dating. He brushed my hair behind my ear and rested his forehead against mine. "You heard me, sweetheart.. I'm serious this time, not just a joke.. are you willing to marry me? I want you to be my wife, my future. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, until the end of my life.. forever mine," I froze, my eyes filling with tears at the sweet, serious words that came from his lips. I was happy, so happy that I didn't know whether to cry or smile. Hans gently wiped away the tears that slipped down my cheeks with his thumb, he patiently waited for my answer even though I was still speechless. "You made me cry again.. and what stupid question is that?" I could see him blink at my response, a hint of disappointment on his face thinking I was rejecting his proposal. Before he could say anything I interrupted him. "Of course i will, i***t! I will! Don't make me cry because you hug my tiny heart too tightly!" A smile spread across his face again, his eyes now filled with tears while I was sobbing in happiness on his arms. He leaned in, placing a soft kiss on my forehead, cheek, and lips before looking down at me again. "You make me the happiest man in the world.." He reached for something from his pocket and took my cold, trembling hand. My eyes widened as he slipped the diamond ring onto my finger and placed a soft kiss on back of my hand making me gasp in surprise and stare at him with all emotions i have for him. "Hans.. you have no idea how happy I'm right now.." I sobbed like a child, making him chuckle, his mischievous nature returning. He pinched my cheek and looked at me with that annoying cheeky expression, but there was still affection. "And I going to make you happy for the rest of your life. Let's back home, I have to propose to your parents." He wiped the tears from my cheeks and intertwined his fingers with mine, pulling me out of the flower garden. I looked at his back with a smile that was as wide as I'd ever seen before. I am the luckiest girl in the world to have him. Everything went smoothly, his proposal was accepted with great joy by my parents. Both his parents and mine gave their blessings, and everything had been carefully prepared. This is the third month after his proposal and today is the big day, the day of our wedding ceremony. The wedding ceremony took place outdoors as we had planned, the decoration is so beautiful and simple. I was so nervous, my hands wouldn't stop shaking when the stylist and make up artist started to make me up so beautifully like a queen. "You look absolutely stunning, miss. Mr. Hans is very lucky to have you." I turned to look at the stylist in the reflection of the mirror who was placing the crown on my head and I smiled gently at her. "Thank you, but I don't think he's the lucky one.. but me.. I'm going to marry the best man in the universe.." she smiled warmly and went back to her work. The invited guests began to enter the venue and take their seats. Hans arrived with his family in a decorated bridal car. He entered and is now waiting for me at the altar. I was really nervous and happy when the veil started to cover my face and my dad came to pick me up. I held his hand tightly as he led me out of the fitting room. He smiled warmly and squeezed my hand gently, looking at me with an unreadable gaze. "My daughter is all grown up now, isn't she? Dad hopes you'llshowered by happiness and never be sad after becoming a wife. But no matter what, you're still my little girl." I held back my tears when my father said that. My hand squeezed his hand even tighter as we started to enter the venue. "I love you dad .. I always have.." I whispered, desperately holding back my sobs. The bridemaids led the way to the altar where Hans was waiting for me and stood in front of the priest. He's really handsome today making me even more nervous. I let go of my father's hand after I finally made it to the altar. Hans and I now stood side by side facing the priest. The wedding ceremony began solemnly, Hans occasionally glanced at me to make sure I was okay because I was so nervous and tremble. Then finally came the time to recite our sacred vows. I stood facing Hans and so did he. My smile was so gentle behind the veil that it made Hans stunned. But.. who would have thought this would happen? Before Hans could recite the vows led by the priest, a helicopter that was about to fly over our ceremony exploded in the distance. All eyes were focused on the loud bang in the air. all the details of the helicopter were destroyed, causing the debris to fall to the ground. But one thing I didn't expect.. The helicopter's blades spun down towards me, making me widen my eyes, but my feet froze, unable to avoid them. They.. finally stabbed me. Everyone screamed as they saw the metal sticking out of my entire front, including my face. I could hear Hans' hysterical screams as he held me up before I fell. My blood was flowing everywhere, my vision turned black. My body was numb from the excruciating pain, until finally I couldn't breathe anymore and my heart stopped beating because it was torn apart. Why? Why did this happen to me on my happy day? Is God punishing me because I'm not the right wife for Hans? If that's the case... it's okay as long as Hans is happy. But apparently.. he wants me to stay by his side...
