CHAPTER TEN “A sea of gravestones,” Carly muttered. “What?” Lyle asked. He was driving their vehicle on the curved road that led into Westcliff Cemetery. Even through the rain-streaked car windows Carly could see hundreds of gravestones flanking the road. She hadn’t realized she’d spoken aloud, but she wasn’t ready to tell Lyle about her vision of gravestones in an open sea. And here was something very much like it in real life. “It’s like a sea out there,” she replied. “Just a little shower.
