Everything was really fuzzy, I could see a woman standing in front of me. I could’t make out her features but I could feel her touch was soft and gentle. I could feel her messing around with the collar on my neck. “Please.” I managed to croak out, I tried to lift my hand up but I couldn’t move it more than a few inches.
She gasped, “have you people not been giving this man water?” Her voice was angry, like a mother scolding her child. In a way it made me happy to know that someone at least cared about what happened down here.
