Gertrude’s pov
After I finished the dishes I made my way back to the pack house. I knew if the Alpha ever found out that I betrayed him he would have me killed on the spot. Thankfully we had a plan for the morning and I knew exactly how to do it.
I opened the back entrance and walked to mine and my mate’s room. I opened the door and was surprised to see the alpha sitting in a chair. My husband glanced at me with concern. “Alpha? What are you doing here?” I asked him calmly.
He looked at me and leaned further back into his chair, “just wanting to make sure that I get whatever information you got.” He said with a deadly glare.
