After that intense exercise, they both lie spent on the bed, tangled in each other’s limbs, their skin slick with sweat, hearts still hammering in their chests. The air between them is thick with heat, silence broken only by the sound of their ragged breathing. She’s nestled against him, fingers splayed across his chest, while his arms cradle her as if letting go would cause him to fall apart. He chuckles softly, shaking his head with a breathless smile as he brushes a few damp strands of hair away from her flushed face.
