Raven I woke up on Amy's couch with a stiff neck and the lingering smell of stale popcorn and cheap wine still in the air. I groaned, rolling my head from side to side to try and alleviate the ache. I loved girls nights, but my body reminded me constantly that I was getting older. My phone was. Tucked under my cheek, the screen dark, and for a split second, I had the urge to look and see if I had any missed calls or messages from the guys. Heat blossomed on my cheeks. Memories from the night before flashed to the front of my mind. The movies. The laughing. Us painting out nails and talking until way too late. The fact that I didn't want to go home yet and absorb as much time as I could with one of my best friends. I didn't get to do this much anymore. I heard pots and pans clanging
